Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.

That will be depending on the country you were in, If bitcoins is possible to be handled by the bank's then probably it was been allowed by the government since some of the country is very sensitive about money and how your'e going to use it, Like the incident that happen in china.

Here in the philippines, we dont have any bank who accepts Bitcoin deposit or withdrawal. Only coins.ph does that job. I dont think bank will ever accept Bitcoin currency since the nature of its system. decentralized and the transaction fee goes to miners. Unlike bank, has its centralized system and some billionaires owns it.
Yes you're right we only use the online wallet Coins.ph for making our transactions because I also believe that there are no banks here in our country that accept bitcoin. We must change it first to our local currency before transferring it to our local banks. The online wallet also does a lot of transactions online that's why it is nice.

I dont think so. Banks are made for fiat currency deposit some bitcoin wallets can send funds directly to bank account and vice versa but its not like bank acceptimg btc it is first traded/converted to fiat depending on current price before sending to bank.

No banks don't accept bitcoins, most bankers have been bashing bitcoins for months now so by accepting bitcoins indirectly means that they approve of bitcoins. They currently see bitcoin as the competition that must be annihilated that's why they are bashing it so much in media.

That sounds so crazy, it is like making Coca cola and Pepsi work together, it is insane, have you re-read your posts at least before publishing it? omg.. how the f**k are banks going to accept bitcoin? if bitcoin is the opposite to banks and all that concerns about their terms and how they work.
There is no way that banks could work together with bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency..

Coins.ph wallet is very useful, because there's a lot of features you can used in this wallet. Moreover all bank in the Philippines was not accept bitcoin as deposit, but thru help of Coins.ph it easy to deposit on selected bank using this wallet. Because before you deposit your amount in the bank of the Philippines you just need to converted it first into peso.

Here in the phillipines they dont accept bitcoins in bank but if they convert it in peso they will accept it. They dont know what bitcoin is but if they know the use of bitcoin. Someday they will accept it because it is universal currency.

I don't know any bank accepting Bitcoin nor think that they will accept it anyway.  Banks feels that Bitcoin is a threat to their dominance so definitely the first thing they will do is to try eliminate it.  Then the next thing would be regulating it before eventually accepting Bitcoin.  As of now they are in the process of regulation so this mean that banks won't be accepting Bitcoin transaction directly.

I highly doubt there would be a bank for bitcoins because the whole point of btc is for it to be anonymous and that bank will totally destroy that ideal.
I agree, i think it wont happen because it will be a big problem for their dominance. Bitcoin is anonymous and yes but that doesnt mean it will not be good to be know by other because as far as I observed here many users are hoping that bitcoin will be legalized if thats happen then it wont be anonymous anymore. Bitcoin is not accepted by bank but you can cash it out there.

I do not think there are any banks who accept Bitcoin. But I do not know so much. Because Bitcoin is illegal in my country so our central bank does not use Bitcoin. I think Bitcoin is the rival of the banks. So they do not accept Bitcoin directly. I heard many banks accepting indirectly.

as of now, i don't know of any banks that are accepting bitcoin. I think that in due time, banks would learn how to cooperate with bitcoin and altcoins as well, for the mean time, we should accept that bank will do everything to destroy bitcoin since it will hurt them, we know that bitcoins creation will sooner or later make fiat currency obsolete. What i see is when banks started to accept bitcoin, banks will still have a chance to survive, for as we all know, bitcoin is the future and in the future, for our safety we would not require to bring with us paper notes, since it is prone to burglary, in my country, a lot of robbery is happening, criminals would rob you if they know you are bringing with you a lot of cash, though we already have technology that will allow you transfer funds, some would still want to carry along paper notes to deposit in their bank accounts. Banks would survive if they also invest on cryptocurrency, banks may, in time, would make their own cryptocurrency, and that's the time that I see, that banks would accept bitcoin, probably there will be an agreement with countries who legalizes bitcoin to create their regional regional cryptocurrency, which has an equivalent to bitcoin, since that's how fiat money was created before, countries making their own currency to distinguish their nation. hopefully banks would accept bitcoin as they need to learn how to survive with it, since banks actually do not have the power to kill bitcoin and they know that, all they can do is accept that fact.

Not sure if there is any bank in the entire world that has started accepting bitcoins yet. But I am sure that behind the scenes bankers are on the process of accumulation bitcoins. If they want to keep their power, they will need to keep keep hold of the next dominant currency of the world.

I dont think so. Because in fact, before I cash out my money. First, I will convert my own bitcoin into fiat money in my Online wallet account and after that convertion I will cash it out in the bank. But I think someday Banks will accept it without converting bitcoin to any fiat money.

There is a big yes for that. Actually in my country there is one bank that I know that accepts bitcoin because one of the reasons why their bank stands out is because of bitcoin. Unfortunately, only that bank accepts bitcoin so it is still limited for me and the rest of the users of bitcoin to change into a fiat money. Sometimes,I encounter malfunctioned machines in teller and I'm a hard time to cash out so I need to look for the same bank with the same system in bitcoin.

Maybe I do not really know if any bank can accept bitcoin,
But if the bank can accept the bitcoin it may be very profitable for the bank because of the rising bitcoin value, unlike the dollar that changes the price is not too fast like bitcoin,
and I hope there will be a bank in my country that can accept bitcoin.
