Not really I think, even in my country banks Nations do not accept bitcoin. Well, I do not know exactly why it would be like that. Sometimes I wonder why they do not do together between bitcoin and Bank? It could be a big problem between them. Well, we just want a better thing with their future together.

In my country (as well as any others I suppose), banks do not work with bitcoin. They still do not believe in crypto currency and say it's a bubble. Probably in a few years everything will change. I hope so
Banks will not accept bitcoin because they are afraid of decentralization because they prefer to get into controlled of anything that is related to money. Banks have a higher chance to create their own cryptocurrency rather than accepting the existing cryptocurrencies because they want to take control of the things.

Unfortunately for our country no banks have accepted bitcoin as saving deposit well let's not be bitter about that because they are just following the strict rules and policies of their central bank and because the central banks are certainly controlled by the government which is the reasons why banks are not yet accepting bitcoin because they cant control it , they can't manage people using and certainly they can't see any loopholes about it for them to took over bitcoin.

Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.
I have never heard or seen an info that states there is a bank that receives bitcoin ... because bitcoin itself is not accepted in various countries one of indonesia .. but big company companies have been using bitcoin

In my country, banks do not take bitcoin. I think that this is due to the fact that there is still no law on crypto-currency. The government did not recognize bitcoin and banks can not use this asset

I doubt that bank accepting bitcoin that was impossible because cryptocurrency is one of the competency of any bank that dint want to implement in any country because there business was affected thats why its so impossible that banks accepting bitcoin because here in our country many banks was not accepting cryptocurrency so thats why bitcoin was not legalize here in my country.
You can not give me a reason made the government and the bank do not accept Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
I agree with your idea, but you should show more reason to make others understand you are right.
In my opinion, the bank and the government can use the technology from cryptocurrency, but they do not like to use cryptocurrency. Smiley

I believe none, because as I know cryptocurrencies works independently it is like anonymous identity. In some point we can still exchange it to our country currency where we belong but not bitcoin itself there is still process in exchanging or selling it.
You are right not all the banks but in some countries the bitcoin price and the value is increasing more and more so I hope someday the bitcoin will be the world famous and almost all the banks in every country will accept the bitcoin,  this will be the best time for the bitcoin investors and the people who are being with the bitcoin a the long period of the time and they have waited a lot.

I can see why there are so many answers that are probably not answering the question in the way in which you asked. I can see how there can many interpretations as to the way that you worded it.

No real banks from what I know of but a couple of online bakes might do. Something like first direct if your in the UK.

I think having your bitcoin in a bank essentially outside your control sort of defeats what bitcoin is for.

Closest I think you will get is something like revolut to allow you to switch between currency easily.

Cryptocurrency is a concept for currency can not controlled by anyone, but if the banks and the government want to use blockchain to create a currency can controlled by them. It is only a digital currency normal as Paypal and the benefir for the government is they can keep safe their data through blockchain technology.

What is the thing you need the bank accept Bitcoin? I do not have any reason to hope the bank accept Bitcoin. Accept and use Bitcoin by the banking system will make it become centralized system instead of decentralized.

I am not aware of any bank that accepts Bitcoin at the moment. IT wouldn't make any sense for them to accept Bitcoin since the reality is that banks are supposed to be opposed to BTC. IT would be like the government paying people to commit crime. Cheesy

Yes , some of the  banks now accept and embrace the bitcoin world . Maybe because they see that many people nowadays use bitcoin in their everyday lives for payment , deposit , withdraw and etc.
