Yes Bro According to me Betting is a Gambling Because Here We Risk Our Money And It Depends Upon Our Luck But Here the Winning Odds Depends Upon Our Experience and Knowledge About the Particular Sports Event.... To me too, it is pure gambling so far you it invloves a situation where you have to put your resources on the line to get a certain return in excess of what you initially put into it then it is gambling coupled with the risk you have to take to get that return then I conclude it is no different than gambling. You must be right. When there is no research and analysis involved with the a particular sports on a particular day, still if you are going for betting on that day might result in gambling your resources. There are few chances with sports betting to analyse your outcome, if you miss that then there won't be any difference. |

Well I voted for "yes", although I agree profession sports betting is not a myth. Although it's not a myth it's still gambling. You can call it professional gambling if you want, and I think it's possible both in sports betting, and in poker as well. I can't see it in any other place. Trading of course is the same, and you can even talk about sports trading (I tried it for a while). But even sports trading is still sports betting and gambling, but if done correctly it can be done in a professional level. |

Sports betting is purely gambling as you are not going to get sure income because of loosing risks involved. Sports betting is less risky or has more chances that is not the issue. I agree that anything that is uncertain of the result and involved betting money is gambling. Sports Betting is no difference. Since we are uncertain who the winner will be even if we have statistics and data that show someone is underdog doesn't mean that the guy will lose. There are lots of proven fact about underdog winning the competition and the one who has advantage eat the dust. |

Sports betting has something in common with the former as you can try to predict outcomes by reasoning. So, is sports betting a sort of gambling? Yes, because its outcomes are much more random than in trading or investing, so it's very hard to have reliable profit from it, which makes it gambling by definition. |

Yes, for me its also a gambling also. there is money involved and it cause addiction also like any betting game.But if you bet on regular season with a family to watch together,its a good bonding moments but doing it everyday just to think for winnings not a good sign. |
