There is no sort of about it. It is gambling 100% and you can lose just as much getting carried away 'betting' as you can gambling in a casino. All in all it is the lesser of two evils should you know a thing or two about the sports your betting on. Oh yeh btw betting is gambling. Professional gambling is not a myth I know a few winners its just I know a lot more losers.

Anytime you bet on something and you have a chance to lose your money it is gambling whether that be on sports or the stock market.  With sports you have a better chance at winning similar to stocks because you can do you research and crunch the numbers.  Politicians will have you believe that investing in the stock market is not "gambling" but it is all just symantecs.  It is all gambling, but again you have better odds when doing certain types of gambling.

If you haven't got any skill... And you don't have a guaranteed strategy that'll keep you winning forever (e.g. arbitrage), then it is gambling. It's the same as any other gambling activities.

i think its pure gambling and nothing else it does not require any skills as it is just guessing the outcome of the game so i believe its nothing too much different from ordinary gambling on dice and so on

Professional Betting.. or Betting with high winnigs do require quite some "skill".
At least a lot of informations about the scene / insider informations.

I think this would fall under the category i call "informed gambling". There is pure gambling where it's just raw luck, % against % without anything else but chances where you can't think about a logic outcome. With betting, you can research and choose your pic based on evidence (a team or boxer performance or whatnot).

Yes I think it is gambling because you are basing it on odds and probability. And honestly I think alot of the biggest sporting events seem to be rigged.

Nothing could be more far from the truth.

There are professional analysts for any kind of betting; you do think they don't require any skills to do their job? Betting takes knowledge of why you're betting on who/what. It's a lot more complex than a few guesses on who's going to win and that nonsense.

It doesnt include luck. but you are betting money.
and betting money win/lose is gambling.
though the difference in others like dice etc.
is in sports betting you need to learn or be educated and in dice.

i have confused with your question but i'll try to answer : IMO, gambling is when you put the money on the sport or game, that is called with gambling

for sports betting you need good analytics in every match before you place a bet

By saying this you mean that betting has any strategy that can be used to guarantee your wins? I dont think there is some strategy that will let you win 100% it will always depends on your chances and your luck too. Without those you wont be able to win it

Of course sport betting it is gambling. Every activity where you bet your money and you don't know the outcome is gambling.
If you could win everytime while betting on sports events then it wouldn't be - but as you can't  predict the winner then it is gambling.

Because when you bet your money on specific team, you will either lose or win. The same when you gamble on dice, poker, and etc.

Yes sports betting is also considered gambling, though I think it is entirely possible to make a profit doing so.
I admit not knowing enough about the math behind it all, but it does seem like something that could be profitable in the long term if you're knowledgeable enough.

sure, betting on sport is old-school gambling that still become favorite type of gambling all the time
we bet on our favorite team with analize all about team's information, last match performance and any update news about our favorite team then the opponent team also needed to analyzed too
