I agree with you the sports betting is the largest betting activities in the gambling world. This will give high revenue to the casino owners. Sportsbetting , dice , plinko , bingo , raffle , lottery they are all a form of gambling . They are just different ways of games but as long as there is a money involve to win or to lose it is still a gambling. As long as there is a risk that you can lose or you can win money.
Yeah as long as there are money related to bet it is going to be considered as gambling. And all you have said are types of gambling games. Even if you are going to do trading that is going to be considered as gambling too because you are going to risk your money but good thing that it is lesser risk rather than gambling, because it has the highest risk. |

I agree on this if we want to do sports betting means we should have more knowledge on sports. And yes this is something to do with talent. But only with the talent we can not make money in gambling. We need investment to make a profit in gambling. So if we invest money means we are putting our money at risk. If we put our money at risk, then it is called gambling. |

Yes, definitely. The definition of gambling means "play games of chance for money" or "take risky action in the hope of a desired result". Betting on sports just because you have some knowledge on it doesn't mean it's not a risky action. Anything where you are risking money without a guaranteed profit is considered gambling.

It's not like that, because it's not only you who can do the research. So if the chances of a team to win are high you should risk say 1 BTC in order to get 0.1 profit in case of winning. Same thing with the dice gambling for example when you bet with 90% win chance.
