i suggest holding btc becouse its price will be bigger than gold
Best in holding. I think both are best in their own significant qualities. But as said according to now bitcoin best one to hold because of halving and adoption of bitcoin in various business. |

Yeah, holding gold for long run, holding bitcoin for short term, Both will be profitable in future, as price fluctuation in bitcoin will help us to make some quick profits which is not possible in gold. |

Yes bitcoins would reach the value of 1 KG gold as today but would take some years. For me, gold has a higher value than bitcoins as I can get a loan easily by mortgaging my gold but that's not possible with bitcoins. Bitcoins are truly best to hold due to the price votality and I hope they are soon as recognized as gold is today. |

holding gold for long term is not even that good, gold is only good to hold for something securing maybe your funds, if you don't want to put them udner your pillow
The reason most people buy gold right now is because gold is stable and is a good way to safe money because people dont want their money to be getting reduced by the inflation. Even if you save your money under pillow, it will always be affected by the inflation rate but with gold its different yeah but it's not good to hold for long term if you intend to have a huge profit, i don't believe in gold reachign a new peak anytime soon if ever, and at best it will match the last ATH |

Holding of gold is done by most of the common men who are not much aware of bitcoin. When common men start using bitcoin as equal to the local currency the people starts holding bitcoin for safety

Does anyone have any idea how many people are using gold as a store of value vs btc? And how long do you think until we have the same user Base as holders of gold?
i think more people use gold for store of value,because all of people can do this,gold is more popular in this world. i think need more than 10 years for bitcoin to reach same users like gold holders. |

yeah initially storing gold is quite difficult, if you want to buy a lot of gold, perhaps 1kg, surely you will be trouble. to save the gold, but it seems now the gold investment is also growing, you can see it in bitgold |

i think more people use gold for store of value,because all of people can do this,gold is more popular in this world. i think need more than 10 years for bitcoin to reach same users like gold holders. All people can also use Bitcoin as store of value/wealth without a problem. It's even easier than going to a certain place and purchase yourself some kilos of physical Gold. It's also a risk having that much Gold in your house and it's not easy to hide unless you dig it somewhere deep in the forrest. And if you want to move that much physical Gold to somewhere else you get noticed quickly. No real benefits. With Bitcoin you only need a piece of paper to store millions of $$$ and no one will notice anything. You can have it in your pocket, you can go to any country without any one noticing you have possibly hundreds of millions of $$$ with you. That's amazing!! |

It is hard to take profits from Gold if you have physical. When you sell you cannot get much of a premium due to either ebay fees, coin dealers paying under spot price, etc. Also I don't think Gold has the potential to skyrocket like Bitcoin. Both are still good options to hedge against the dollar.

Gold is good if you want profits in long run, as the price is not that volatile as compared to bitcoins, so people choose gold and bitcoin is too volatile to handle, you might earn huge profits or even loose everything in long run if you don't sell at the right time. |

can't compare gold with Bitcoins, logically. Gold we see it glitters shine, we wear it too but at the same time Bitcoins is a digital money. Its price rises and goes down too. Now the price is little down but it will gain the market again. |
