I heard about the bitcoins, when I saw the news, something about criminals use it very much and it was untraceable. That was the first time of my life I heard about the bitcoin market.

I first heard about Bitcoins about five years ago (spring 2011), at that time a Bitcoin was worth about $2.00!

It was roughly 2013-2014, don't remember exactly. I was searching for virtual games online and bitcoins flashed on my page. I checked it and it redirected me to blockchain.info which was an online wallet. I just created one and then searched for ways to earn bitcoins easily and it took me to a list of faucet websites wherein I could make around $1 per day. It was not much but I did try it for a month before joining this forum.

My friend told me about bitcoins, and he said that bitcoin is a future currency, I never heard about bitcoin before, but once he started to explain me in detail, I found entire concept very interesting and started to invest my money into it.

I got to know from a travel which happened just 5-10min. The guy sitting next to me was reading some article based on bitcoin. I too was peeping and understood a little. Later tried through internet and got into it.

first time i was heard about bitcoin is 1 year ago by local forum but some people only talking how to earning bitcoin only using a faucet and after many times to searching bitcoin forum i find these forum and i could learn and earn bitcoin with many way since i know these forum

i heard about it back in 2012 and just read about and some friend told me to start here so in 2013 i got here and start to earn ever since started small and looked on markets and try to learn about exchange rates and everything, now after this few years i play safe lot of alt are here and lot are fake so i take only safe investment and some got tips

Yeah even I heard for the first time when the price was $1k and at that time it was not possible for me to afford even a half bitcoin, so I waited long to buy a bitcoin and finally I bought when the price dropped to $250 as it was affordable for me. |

Yep, that's the idea. Bitcoin like any other new thing when heard for the first time can be really suspicious. That is why it's easier to patronize Bitcoin if you have a friend that vouched for it. |

2013 i first heard in the news television. about price bitcoin
same for me i knew about bitcoin when it hit 1000$/coin, that was incredible, a lot of media were talking about this on that days yeah. when the media and the worldwide uproar, created by bitcoin how could a coin could explode the price of it |

I heard it in news first and then started to research on bitcoins, as I was totally unaware about the bitcoins at that particular time, then I started to watch videos related to bitcoins, and finally I got into it and started earning bitcoins.

I never knew the existence of bitcoins until March 2015, almost a year ago. I knew this when I was searching for online lending forums. I read about peer to peer Bitcoin lending forums like btcjam and bitlendingclub (now loadbase) where you could borrow bitcoins and later exchange for fiat. I started developing interest and now I am fully engrossed in bitcoins full time.

I heard when the price was around $250 that is around 1 year back I guess, when I saw my friend working on signature campaigns, and he told me about bitcoins, and then even I started to work on it.
