Hmm, to be honest I don’t remember but I can guess. I just randomly browse websites for no definite reasons sometimes for knowledge, fun, entertainment, gaming and numerous other things. I think I read an article on a news website which was related with evolution of crypto currencies. I was already in domain name reselling business (and making good profits) I made investment in dogecoins and then converted it in bitcoins after few period.
As I first heard bitcoins. My friend just shared it to me that he has some knowledge about bitcoin but that is not too deep at all. And as I research about bitcoin I am the now now that does have more idea about bitcoin than him. First time i had heard about bitcoins somewhere in 2012 but i wasn't interested about them back then. I did later,but i heard about it at my friend's party,because he did some profit out of it  Yeah i've a bad experience like that too, not interested with bitcoin when the way are easy to get bitcoin for free and my friend are not they still claim bitcoin from faucet and hold it in their computer what a shock when i hear he sell bitcoin at $1000. |

i think the first place i read about bitcoins was a newspaper of my town most probably
the same for me, i really like bitcoins and i think like to read about it a lot all the time, i think that in this way i can make a lot of money out of different websites i get to know That's awesome. Truly we can learn anything when we read right ? haha  And its a great thing that an article you read is bitcoin. If not, maybe you are not earning money now  Sadly, I was not fun of reading newspapers. I heared about bitcoins thru facebook. And I think its one of the advantages of social media. Until it became larger and larger Glad I found courage in joining bitcoins <3 |

I first heared bitcoins or not really heared but seen thru advertisements. I was browsing some investment sites on google then I found an advertisements, HYIP to be exact. Then I have an Idea "What is that? Can I make profit or legit investment there?" and so I research about bitcoin then I found many testimonies that they are earning money from bitcoins. From then I joined then I tried many kinds of things to earn like captcha works, faucets etc.. Then I gamble and trade.

I heard about bitcoin first from my friend who explained how it works for me, then i joined the forum and i learned a lot more about Bitcoin
yeah interaction of mouth. of friends to another friend is spread bitcoin that most good. at least I've told my friends and now I have many friends in my city neighborhood. It started from me to tell my friends. yeah it is the good adoption of mass. I'm sure users will continue to grow with this method |

Initially came to know about bitcoin through a friend through one of my friend who have been using it for a long time. Initially I felt difficultly in using, within a short became familiar and started using.

Actually where i am here a huge people don't know about bitcoin, and i saw a video in YouTube and by chance i saw it and than i used it and i realized, it is best so i am here in bitcointalk and use it in investment. My family is not much into bitcoin but i have some friends who are into all king of new things. Even bitcoin. They told me i should try it for sending money and within a few times i really was engaged in bitcoin. Fore sure the best choice of my life. Majority of the people are into bitcoins as our friend recommended to us, one of my friend was working on signature campaign and earning weekly in the form of bitcoins and that attracted me towards start investing into it. |

I heard of Bitcoin about a year ago. I saw it on some Steam game bundle site and they are accepting Bitcoin as a payment (I thinj Steam wasn't accepting Bitcoin then).
I started with faucets and searched for some help on mining. It wasn't profitable but I didn't know. I quit then and dumped 0.0005 Bitcoin I got from faucets.
I got here 3 months later when a game 'Bitcoin Tycoon' reminded me of it and discovered signature campaigns and this whole community so I started doing services.

i first saw bitcoin at 2010 when i was having a burger and watching random channels then suddenly i switched to discovery channel (there are mostly interesting things there) so i saw an bitcoin interview where a person was talking about bitcoin and about how he lost his private key at that time i didn't gave it much importance but after some month when i was google i found some information about bitcoin again and from then i started my research

What country are you from? I do know about bitcoin from like the same time,i heard about it for a first time something like 3 years ago,but im actually surprised that you have found it out thanks to some TV news. im almost sure in my country,it has never happened in TV to say anything about bitcoin,and we have 2016 already,and the 2017 is getting closer and closer... it is pretty sad i think. |

What country are you from? I do know about bitcoin from like the same time,i heard about it for a first time something like 3 years ago,but im actually surprised that you have found it out thanks to some TV news. im almost sure in my country,it has never happened in TV to say anything about bitcoin,and we have 2016 already,and the 2017 is getting closer and closer... it is pretty sad i think. In our country I don't see in the news about bitcoins, I think we are only few in terms of users in our country. Wow, that's so cool. It's uncommon to see fathers has that techno thinking that they new technology better than yours. Most of old relative I knew doesn't know anything about bitcoin. |

I heard from my friend. He tell me his computer system is crash by virus and when he tried to open his file the virus command say "you have to send 350 bitcoin to this address xxxxxxxxx to get your file back".
I have no idea about it, and 1 weeks later I Google it, and found another way to get rich.
