I read about it online. It was about the Winklevoss twins and their new venture into bitcoin after the facebook thing. It got me a little interested at the time.

I remembered! For the first time I learned about Bitcoin reading the news. They wrote something about world of warcraft and what's possible for Bitcoins to buy something, some things that, if I do not know. At that time I thought it was some sort of in-game currency.

I just heard bitcoin from someone in a forum dedicated for programs, hacks and many more. They said that you can earn some extra money using bitcoin so I got interested. Well I'm happy though that I tried bitcoin because I met many friends along the way, that I can always ask for advice when I am in need of help from a cryptocurrency related problem.

Well for me, I heard about bitcoin when I was talking to my classmate and he told me about deep web. And he said, that the currency using in deep web is bitcoin. And I was like, eh? Of course I don't have idea with it on that time. |

I heard bitcoin from my friend because he is like a nerd that keep talking about different things that he discovered on internet and when he say about bitcoin and also say the price of 1 bitcoin i got shocked and impressed because all was on my mind is how the fck did the bitcoin price reach to that. So it got my attention and also get curious so i do some research on my own and found out that it is a cryptocurrency which means that money on the internet. After that i start keep searching for the possible way to earn bitcoin until i start on faucet and also investing on HYIPs but just after 2 months i realized that it's worthless so finally i find this forum and now i can say that this is what i'm looking  . |

In my personal experience, I first heard of it 1 year ago in a online forum game, people sold gold for Bitcoins, around March, gave it no importance at first. Now im kinda utterly commited to it. Really an interest subject of study.
The first time I heard about the Bitcoin was from a friend of mine, this one time he told me that he was making money with something online and I did not know what he was talking about so he explained it to me. Now I am hear making sue of Bitcoin and also making money with it. |

I was introduced to Bitcoin by some nerds that were mining with their home PC at the end of 2012. I didn't spend much attention to Bitcoin because I had other interests back then. They somewhat forced me to look into Bitcoin, and they showed me there is some money to be made via mining. That's when I started to get interested. Once I noticed that my home PC was not capable of mining a worthy amount of coins in a day, I got disappointed and left. For some reason I went back to Bitcoin again in the beginning of 2013, and I bought myself some coins instead of mining them. That's when it all started for me.
The first time i heard about the bitcoin was right after the time that the price of the bitcoin exploded and that where a lucky time for allot of people who thought years ago lets buy bitcoins by one dollar and boom now he is hitting the 700 each how nice is that for all. |

I just saw bitcoin on facebook because one of my friends is posting some advertisement from his investment site so i take a look at it and i saw that they only accepting bitcoins and for the first time that i saw the common investment amount of bitcoin like 0.001, i laugh at it because it's too low for me because on that moment all i know that it's has the same value as $ so i chat my friend and asking him what is the problem about him because why he wasting his time for investing at least 0.001 bitcoin amount and after that he explain me the bitcoin and what is real value of it. So i got shocked and i get interested about bitcoin i start using it  . |

The first time that I heard of Bitcoin was when the uncle of a friend of mine was busy with Bitcoin and me and friend were over at his house.
I became interested and he taught me how the things worked, now I am here doing my own thing with Bitcoin.

I also had a friend of mine that introduced me to it and I'm still using it now, I even love it and its just such a great investment/currency. Loving the way of paying and making profit by doing almost nothing. |
