Mara's Slipstream service is basically a non-public mempool that charges a surplus (compared to the normal public mempool fee market) to collect transactions that will become confirmed in one of Mara's next mined blocks. Transactions sent to Slipstream are NOT broadcasted to other nodes. They remain hidden from public until their attached feerate justifies to be mined in a block by Mara's mining pool.

Mara is a stock listed company to my knowledge and they would be stupid to spoil and stain their Slipstream service. Slipstream is to my knowledge the only such easily accessible public service which allows to mine non-standard and/or non-public transactions.

It's possible that other major mining pools also offer similar services, but contrary to Mara's Slipstream, they don't seem to be public. You would have to find a contact at some other reasonably large mining pool, negotiate terms and extra fees, trust they don't screw you to have them mine a transaction of yours hidden from public.

So far IIRC we have only two samples mined safely by Slipstream service of Mara, namely puzzle #67 and #68 withdrawals.
Puzzle #67 withdrawal transaction 0be77ec8...46e32986 has Audit "Not seen in Mempool" where mempool.space clearly indicates that this transaction wasn't seen in public before it was actually confirmed in a block, here of course mined by Mara.

Same is for puzzle #68 withdrawal transaction a5635eb2...88b0eb08, mempool.space's Audit is again "Not seen in Mempool", i.e. hidden from public mempools.

With unconditional FullRBF any public broadcasting of a transaction disclosing the public key of known low entropy private key "secured" funds is suicide for the funds. What some folks here posted like offering a high fee under some stupid conditions only shows one thing: a lack of understanding of consequences of FullRBF in public mempools and how mining works.

Mining blocks is a random process. It's only within larger time frames that blocks are mined in about 10 minutes on average! See the TTM column at https://bitcoinexplorer.org/blocks how variable the temporal distance of blocks is (here TTM is based on the timestamp of the block, not when the block actually was seen by a particular node in the network).

We've seen how the withdrawal of puzzle #69 was likely stolen IIRC, because the team of solvers was stupid enough to ignore so far safe hidden non-public mining via https://slipstream.mara.com.

...
Bullshit. Fortunately you won't solve any of the remaining puzzles to embarras yourself with a spectacular failure to withdraw a solution.

You summed it all up bbro. That’s a complete recap about Mara and the previous cases. I really enjoyed reading your response.

Mara is an American company, which is multi-million dollar, and its shares are listed on the stock market, so thinking that this private service will lead to a transaction being replaced in your company is absurd, this would make they lose credibility and millions of dollars, much more than these 7 BTC of the puzzle, and as for the one who mentions other techniques like Binance, they should be reported or banned, since this only tells us that they want whoever finds it to use this false technique, and then attack the transaction using bots.

Any info on who published this puzzle and what's their goal? Also, how would one go on about calculating those pvk decimal values and covert them to the private keys?

I don't know why but I'm smelling a big scam. Because a newbie that offer more than 12 000€ to solve a following of numbers this is strange...

The OP is not offering anything

I have no idea about who created this transactions, I was just playing around with the bot and stumbled upon it.

After reviewing a bunch of pvks found by the bot I noticed that many of the addresses were on the same transaction, after checking closely I found those kind of sequence patterns.

Looks tempting to crack Smiley

One thing I noticed:

The first address in the transaction is tagged on blockchain.info with "1st Bitcoin Address Compressed".

So probably this transaction was done by the Bitcoin devs? or even... satoshi?

Sounds interesting. Could just be an old test or experiment from the early days rather than something intentional to crack. The "1st Bitcoin Address Compressed" tag makes me think it’s more likely tied to dev testing than Satoshi himself.

Let's say you are right and i do not have this information yet and i need to read more.
If someone is staying to steal, should have already the devices(1000+) ready and they have no ideea when someone will do the transaction or not. Even if they own or rent the devices and they have in standby, the money they spent for nothing are huge!!!
Let's say they crack in minutes before the transaction is made, there are multiple solutions without using

... [rest of BS]

So have fun!

I really hope you solve any puzzle up to #100. I can definitely re-assure you that the fail-safe methods you'll use will not be proven to be wrong in mere minutes (or rather sub-seconds for trivial problems like #71).

The guy who'd prove you wrong would probably either sleep or be at the beach, not staring on a screen waiting to spin up 1000 GPUs, you know?

Everybody is speaking about MARA, but is really safe?
You go on first page and say enter your transaction hex without any identification.
Even with this issue of unknowing what is happening when you submit, if everything is true about stealing, why they do not steal from everyone? There are milions of transactions every day.
If this was the case, nobody was using bitcoin anymore...

Good point. If it was actually stealing, the scale would be huge and obvious by now. Most likely it’s either just risky to trust blindly or people are overthinking it. Always better to stay cautious though.

Did you solve it?!
How would a forum admin help in this case? If someone solved it, that person should just follow the instructions as discussed here. Sign the TX manually, submit it to a private miner he/she trusts and that's all.
It's simple when you know what you are doing. If you don't, then you research and make it simple.
I could also suggest to hire someone, but not sure if one can trust somebody here. I probably would not, but that's me.

I’m willing to bet this guy has cracked the puzzle. I told you all before that there was unusual activity tied to it. Don’t ask me how I know, but I’m confident someone here figured it out and was searching for it. And now it’s finally appeared. Congrats to them, and just follow the instructions like everyone else. Hopefully, they’ll share it with us too Grin DON'T Trust ANYONE.

If he did cracked, congratulations! But thats not enough, he didnt solved it yet since funds still there and moving it safely is part of the solving. Until then, anybody can crack it and claim the funds before him. Hope he gets the prize if he indeed cracked 71 or whatever other puzzle. BBut until now, there is not enough evidence if someone has really cracked a puzzle.

I have spent a lot of time and money on puzzles, and with the discussions I have seen in the forum, I really can't trust anyone except the forum administrator. I would like to ask the forum administrator to introduce me to a way to communicate before it's too late. Thank you.

Why would you trust the forum admin? I won't be surprised if the admin does not even know about this particular puzzle. This forum is pretty big.
You should find someone you can really trust if you can't trust yourself. Or learn how to do it properly on your own if you actually do trust yourself.
After all, the process is not that complicated once you know things such as how mining works and how TXs are being broadcasted.

I can write you a quick instruction without you sharing any personal info. It's just step by step doing things on the offline device to make sure nothing leaks out.
This is a general procedure how to broadcast your TX privately and it does apply to any TX which should be private until confirmed by miners, it's not even specific to this puzzle.
You don't need to trust anyone as you don't give away any info.

No need to suck up for nothing. It's pretty clear he didn’t solve it. If you look at his earlier posts, it just seems like he’s trying to get attention. If someone had truly solved 71, the transfer would have been completed by now.

If you thought I would be provoked by your words and transfer it without a secure way so that you or your bots could steal it like Puzzle 69, I must say that you are completely wrong, and I have no problem with what you said at all. You can continue with these stupid things forever, but I can only trust the forum administrator, not a newbie like you.

If you really found the key, you wouldn't sit and wait and wouldn't look for the forum administrator, you would read this topic, there have been so many forum posts on how to transfer step by step, a couple of pages back, there is even a script that will create a raw signed transaction for you, so that you can send it through Mara Pool later

If you look at his old posts, I don't think someone who can't even tell the difference between puzzle 71 and 135 would be able to solve any BTC puzzle, let alone spend money on it. He published the prefix list WP released, and when someone said the list belonged to them, he denied it. He also asked something about an RTX 2070, etc. In short, every post is nonsense and inconsistent. Even if he did have the key -which I absolutely don't believe Smiley  and somehow found it by pure coincidence, he would have transferred it safely if they were capable of understanding what was written. I just see him as someone who wants attention.
