This is 100% true I predict by the end of 2017 the US will witness one of the largest economic crashes of all time.

I don't believe that it is going to happen and either to come with bitcoin. But maybe if that is going to happen with the economy of US then the USD is going to be affected at all and since the value of bitcoin is depending on the price of USD. Then value of bitcoin is going to be affected. But let's be positive that it is not going to happen.

first of all things that can affected to bitcoin price are not depends on the US dollar price ,
there are many factors that can make bitcoin going up and down ,
the most affected factor are about supply and demand ,
the big crash will happened only if there is market manipulation, fiat crisis and no investor interest at same time.

Very true, not only usd would affect but all circumstances that affects the supply and demand  same as you said. Big crash would happen  if  theres an economic crises of all holders of  huge amount of bitcoin or investors. and also if no one already  buy bitcoin for sure it would crash to the bottom.

not wrong actually , but since USD are used as bitcoin to fiat conversion globally ,
it has a special and huge effect if there is something happened on USD ,
last year in 2015 people saying that US economy will collapses ,
and US dollar will go down drastically but instead go down USD went stronger !

You know that the USD power its huge, but how long they will hide the real situation of the country, if the war stop USA printed dollars will show how the usd is real overvalued, anyway bitcoin and crypto has nothing to do with those, as people invest in their countries into mining hardware and trade bitcoins over their currencie. I doubt bitcoin will crash now, it will grow and at 2020 i do believe 1000 dollars will be the next floor at bitcoin, while the financial problems over the world will be deeper and worse then its now.

btc crashes, pumps, crashes, price goes back up.. nothing new. Price will explode to 10k 1 day.

The price of bitcoin has always been volatile, growing today dropping tomorrow, dropping again day after tomorrow and growing back in the day coming next, so these things will always happen and it should not make anyone panic, as at the end of the day it reaches where it was or even goes higher.

In Brazil bitcoin is already being adopted if you are going to read the thread regarding the almost hundreds of stores are already accepting bitcoins for payment. But as of now, the country of Brazil is having a major problem after the RIO Olympics that was held there. The people wants to push their president to go down from his position and that is going to make some crash with bitcoin, but not too big I guess.

The interest rate is very low at the moment, for example 0.25%. If the increase of interest to 0.5%, that is 100% price rise. That will crash the economy.

The Federal Funds Rate (what is usually meant by interest rate of the FED) has already been at 0.5% since December 16, 2015. And you guess, it rose to that figure exactly from 0.25% (which had been there for seven years). As you can see, it didn't crash the economy, even despite your claimed 100% growth...

Crash mean by op is a total crash which bitcoin drop its price to the bottom since he mentioned also  about economic crises all over the world.  You are right if we experience crash on  upcoming years then we wouldnt know since no one cant predict  on future. Well lets see on what problems would arise in upcoming years.

I think you're right and I find it funny that a lot of whales in the exchanges try to do this non-sense also. The sad thing is that people are super susceptible to hearsay and actually listen to this sort of thing. You should take a look at the trollbox on the Poloniex exchange, hilarious stuff in there.

If btc is increasing because of an economic collapse that affects the USD, that's not people making money, it's people keeping the same amount of money they had. Everything is denominated in dollars. And that's a moot point anyway, because in an economic collapse, bitcoin is going to collapse along with the dollar. Nobody is going to trust this currency to preserve their wealth in a time of economic turmoil.

That's ridiculous. We've been in a super low rate environment for so long that people forget how high rates have been prior to the financial collapse in 2008. And going back to the 1980s, you'll find far higher rates than even what preceded the most recent collapse. It's far more dangerous to maintain this low rate environment because it distorts the economy when the cost of borrowing is near zero.

That is why if you are going to join a discussion you must know first when the thread was made. And this thread was made last January 01,2016 so several months already passed and op tells about the economic dollar crash and that is going to affect the bitcoin too. SO if there is a crash with dollar there is also crash with bitcoin.

I cannot but disagree with this. I think (and I also think that I'm not the only one thinking so) that the US dollar crash, if such should happen, will add value to Bitcoin, surely not subtract from it. To get an idea what this could look like in reality, everyone is advised to look at the US dollar (namely, USDX) vs gold dynamics over the recent years (for example, starting from early 2000s). When the FED began printing excessive amounts of dollars (a protracted and controlled mini-version of the dollar fall), gold skyrocketed and grew in price several times (from below $400 per ounce to about $1,900)...

Personally, I have little doubts that Bitcoin will follow gold's lead and not dollar's if the history repeats itself
