How about a Fly Lottery with the ones who have less than 100 Fly and the name claimed?

For the ones who have few Fly and the name claimed would be like have a ticket on a weekly lotto... until they reach 100

Hi all - been away from this thread (actually the previous thread - now locked) since forever, it feels like.
The drama back on the old thread was getting a bit too much for me to get stressed about so shut down my FLY wallet, and got on with RL stuff.
Been meaning to get back into FLY, but this is the first chance I have had.

I booted up the Windows wallet - V1.6.1 but it won't sync. I have now downloaded the latest version from the OP in this thread. Haven't installed it just yet. Will it overwrite the old QT or do I need to extract my wallet.dat to a safe place, and then delete the old wallet and replace with the new one entirely?

I think a lot has happened since I last staked FLY - my last stake was 17-11-15 - so is there anything specific I should know before starting the new wallet? I think I understand the NEW fees!

Do I have to claim my address again on the explorer?

Do I have to get in touch with whoever is running the new explorer to claim.

Are the rules for the SUPERFLY payments still the same? No outbound transfers and social media posting, after an explorer name claim?

Any help would be appreciated, as there is a lot to take in and I don't want to make any mis-steps

As much as it sucks to see a community members coins stolen, this is a terrible idea and goes against everything crypto.  Let's see if we can find another way to help out rather than messing with the blockchain.

I just visited Cryptopia and certainly I'm seeing 1746.98 FLY at 0.0016, so I'm assuming those are your coins, pokeytex.

Now that the coins are at Cryptopia, maybe if we link those coins to your original address, Then Cryptopia could freeze those coins having proof that those are stolen, am I right?.

These is the beauty of transparency  We can know where those coins come from, and not only that: we can now know who the thief is

My opinion is that is a terrible idea and sets a terrible precedent.  Messing with the blockchain like this is a fine line to cross like someone stated above.

Sorry to hear Pokeytex  that you got hack  I know the feeling my computer got clean out 2 month back      I downloaded a new wallet and it had key logger     in that wallet  so they close my wallet so when I open my wallet i put the past word in it so it could stake now they had my password so they  could do what they want with my coin ..........please listen to this this is for everyone  if you ever go to your computer and you notice your wallet close and you did not close then ...there a good chance you been hack so best thing is to take the internet of that computer till you fix it  .......get rid of the key logger really the best thing to do is to redo your computer completely....

In fact I'd go so far as to state that IF it is proven the coins have been stolen that anyone not wanting a blockchain rollback contribute to a recovery fund for the victim if they do not want to or are unable to then I'd say go ahead and rollback the blockchain why in the actual hell should we let hackers and scammers run rampant? If we have the means to mitigate the damage they cause and therefore hurt their bank accounts then by all means we should. If everyone did this I think the number of hacks would drop as there would no longer be any profit in it for hackers. Thats just my opinion.

What about the people who lost btc buying the fly since they didn't know they were stolen? Are you going to compensate them back the btc they lost too? If there is a rollback then they will be out btc and fly. Slippery slope.
