My plan is to buy bitcoin using fiat and store it for years to come. There will be appreciation in the value of bitcoin over the years to come as more people will want to own some bitcoin as and when they hear about it. You can also use bitcoin to invest into altcoins such as Ethereum, NXT and other cool projects. I would suggest looking at Iconomi, Singular DTV, Synereo and Decent as these projects have the possibility to give good returns to its investors. So have some bitcoin and invest in some altcoin, block chain projects.

i got that point mate but if you can also do buy little by little when you have your spare money just like doing some savings so instead of saving it to a bank why not buy btc instead while the price still cheap so after maybe 5 years without touching your money and if btc price rises up for sure you already doubled your savings.

I just spoke to a guy over chat who told me his plan was to get 100 BTC, wait for the price to reach $5k per BTC and retire after that. Since he lives in a third world county, that might be possible for him. I know this is a simplification of the problem but I d like to know what s your plan. How many BTC is your goal, at what price and what happens once you reach that goal. After all, we have all been involved in a dream, why not dream it a bit more.
