Hello everyone, I need some folks to try this client : https://www.dropbox.com/s/ndzo6anr5te2usd/Neutron-qt-v1.1.0.1.zipThis is NOT a final build, If some folks would be kind enough to start some masternodes with this client it would be very helpful. I have been able to switch between clients without doing anything in the %appdata% folder with no issue. This client may be refusing to stake until it connects to other clients of the same version (which would be ideal) I would appreciate the help, Thanks Do I need a static IP to run a masternode?

From Bittrex "This market is being removed on Friday January 27th, 2017." about NTRN.
It has been a battle to stay on Bittrex for months, Right now I want to focus on getting the code work and network all buttoned up nice. NTRN is trade-able at Cryptopia and Yobit. Once the new clients are out, and the fork has been completed and everything is running as It should, I will focus on securing new positions with the exchanges. Sorry to see you've lost the battle eventually. Good luck with the new client! in haste we lost nothing we can do in hurry or with furious mind so with relax and cool temper we have to work over it.

Do I need a static IP to run a masternode?
depends on exact meaning of "run". if launch once out-of-the-box and run on full auto until Satoshi's Second Advent - you need static. if you can do some necessary steps manually or by script each time ip changed - no need Thank you. Glad to hear that. I will give it a try in a few days. I bought an excess of 25000 to take an active part in this.

I followed the steps given in https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Forum/Thread/568?postId=3681 . But end up with the 'Error: could not allocate vin for collateralAddress'. The description say I need to make sure I send the 25000 to the Collateral Address. Should I try to send it again? According to the blockexplorer, the address holds exactly 25000 Neutron. The wallet I use is recent. I got it from github a couple of hours ago.

And the Nucleus Network-tab, shows only one node. My own. I have however 39 active connections to the Neutron network. How is this supposed to look like? The wallet is staking, but I expected to see other masternodes in the Nucleus network-tab.

Unfortunately, I am going to go ahead and say no, we have encountered issues that we cannot deploy at the moment. It is still being developed but I had jumped the gun in my hasty appraisal. Masternode code is very very complex, especially when you are backtracking to fix and amend. It seems 90% of the work happens on the last 10% of the job. As for Bittrex, While disappointing, I can only move on, as I have said numerous times I have refused to fake volume to keep NTRN listed. Which is a common practice, especially on Bittrex. While it is a popular exchange, I will not miss the constant threat of delistment. Being delisted changes nothing in my position or resolve to continue working on this project. I like the Cryptopia platform as it offers multiple markets for NTRN and encourage everyone to trade there.

if you manage to kill the devil you'll be the first to do it, 'cause actually any masternode wallet crashes in my system if i sustain >~75% cpu load for a long time. the only variable is how long, it may crash in an hour or in 20 hours, but it will, no doubt. dash/darkcoin included, i hate masternodes Thats interesting, the NTRN masternode system in its current state has been running without issues of that nature for almost 2 years now..

Cheers Willy

i'd never do this on c-cex, it's the worst exchange for POS coins NTRN has been added to the voting list and need us to vote for it. Feel free to start working on another exchange. My approach is just more exchanges that have been around.
