So, I decided to try mining from my Amazon Cloud Drive.

It seems to be working.
The only problem I'm running in to is I have to keep the plot files relativly small as the Uploader tends to fail 2-3x trying to upload any files over 20gb.

Any suggestions?

Is there any way I can merge the plots while they are still on the cloud without downloading/reuploading them?

So I'm up to 375GB on amazon cloud drive. It seems the more separate files I put up the faster it is at reading them.
I'm currently uploading 10gb plots as 20gb plots have to be retried 2-3x before amazon cloud drive uploader will complete the upload, thus extending the time it takes to upload.
10gb seems to be a good middle ground.

I really have to wonder how much I will be able to put on the cloud to mine from before loading up the plots takes longer than the average block time. lol

I let my miner run for 12 hours, it doesn't give any errors, but there is no payout!

Any help? Huh

TheDude

I'm currently not mining on my amazon cloud drive as I wanted to see if I could plot directly to it. It appears that I can and it is writing to it incredibly fast. Up to 30gb plotted out of 350gb in just under 20 minutes. I'm not sure how that is even possible as my net tops out at 35mbps on the upload. I hope that the file is usable when its done. lol

Well shit... Just realized that Netdrive is caching it to my harddrive b4 uploading it... I'm about out of space on C: now lol.

All I can do is what I have done, and reached out.

Next step is to up the fee on burst.ninja to get the people some incentive to move. I will make that announcement this weekend if nothing has changed.

If you want to reduce the number of TB on ninja then I do not think an announcement here is going to make much difference. I think the only way to achieve this would be to ask the "Group" that joined back in April to split between ninja & burst-team. Of the 80 or so miners on ninja, 50 plus of them are I think from this "Group"

Right, it is the CAPACITY of the miners that matter, having too much mining power on a single pool simply isn't good for the network, could lead to forking and other things we don't want to see. So please if anyone is mining on ninja please move your miners, you won't see anything but potentially more funds coming from http://pool.burst-team.us Thanks!

You have not commented on / responded to my point on the "Group" I still feel that unless they are broken up you will not solve the problem?

Rich

All I can do is what I have done, and reached out.

Next step is to up the fee on burst.ninja to get the people some incentive to move. I will make that announcement this weekend if nothing has changed.

Is the burst team pool getting to big also? For the last week or so I've been having a lot of deadlines not confirming even though they have been sent to the pool. Some finally confirming well after the 100% finish of deadline searching.

Yes ninja got like this before the max deadline was significantly reduced and is now fine, so if even more people go onto burst-team then the deadline might have to be reduced, or perhaps we need another pool?

Number of miners submitting and the number of nonces this Morning on ninja is around 60 & 80 and on burst-team this is now up to 170 & 380. In that respect ninja looks fine. What would be useful would be a display of the number of TB on each, however I do not know if this is possible to do?

Also what I am not sure about is that as ninja and burst-team are effectively run by the same people does moving miners from one to the other actually make the network more secure?

That's a good question maybe others smarter than myself about the whole network security can answer but to me just seems like ninja is basically twice as big now even though it's 2 pools.

So when burst team pool shows Miners: 579 and ninja shows Miners: 687 are those singular people mining or every single mining computer from all users?

Why wouldn't it make sense for me to go back to ninja for the faster deadline confirms even though it's a max 24hr deadline, I'd gladly take that chance with my tiny 20tb's. Shit yesterday I sat and watched a sub 100 deadline that would have won a block waiting to confirm only to see the next block start up before it even confirmed and lost it of course lol

Don't worry about those larger numbers as I think they are the number of miners that have at one time registered on the Pools. The actual number of miners whose nonces have been accepted are the Miners Responded number in the middle of the screen. Typically now only 65 on ninja and 200 on burst-team.

I have switched between the two pools several times and with my TB I only get within the deadline on ninla about 2 Blocks out of 3 but have to say I much prefer it for responsiveness, consistency and total payout.

Hello Burst Team and Community,

Can someone help for 1 min?

Could anyone please point me in the right direction in regards to finding a BURST high resolution logo?

I will add some BURST apparel to www.CryptosCloset.com

Already have quite a few coins on there and wanted to add BURST asap to the inventory selection.

This will allow anyone to purchase BURST gear with Crypto Currency via CoinPayments.com shopping cart plugin and by Paypal / Credit Card!

Thanks!

Rich

www.CryptosCloset.com

Good idea! If you haven't already, maybe you can post an entry about this in the marketplace section in the other forum? Or is that reserved for stuff you can buy through the integrated marketplace?

There look to be a lot more blocks being found on burst- team now so I think some significant TB has moved. Is there a site somewhere that shows the blocks found tally for the various pools and solo miners?
