Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

No offence taken. Everyone has to do what is best for them, and there is nothing wrong with that.

I run my wallet in a Rikomagic MK36S 2GB (Win10), with hardly any electricity consumption, and with my coins in stacking I have recovered the investment in a month.

I think having the wallet without stacking right now is a mistake, but everyone decides on their equity.

With development gradually increasing, the currency will rise in price as the reward shrinks.

Good luck & And thanks for the work

Radium Update #18 — Organizational Restructuring

Following a long and thoughtful discussion in the last few weeks between the various developers and core community members we have decided to embark on an organizational restructuring. There are various reasons and consequences of this that are outlined below, but the main objective is to try to provide a more streamlined way for all parties involved to achieve the project’s goals.

What are the changes?
As a community member, not many. However behind the scenes there will be some significant structural changes. The main outcome of this is to accurately define the functions of the three main individuals associated with the Radium project: Tim, Justin and Alaniz.

  • Tim will focus on the development and operation of Project Radium LLC as a service built on top of the Radium SmartChain.
  • Justin will continue to focus and develop the Radium SmartChain software.
  • Alaniz will take up the role of managing and maintaining the community at large. This includes marketing, promotion and outreach as well as developing community side services and maintaining the Radium Core code.

The main organizational change is therefore that Alaniz will be taking up some of the responsibilities currently shared by Tim and Justin, allowing them both to focus on their respective areas of interest whilst still ensuring a growing degree of promotion and marketing of the project.

Aside from the obvious benefits of having more clearly defined roles between participants within the project. We are also doing this to ensure that no legal liability falls on Project Radium LLC for any potential marketing or promotion of Radium Core. This may seem a bit confusing but that’s currently the issue with most business regulations in the USA concerning blockchain technology. The above mentioned changes are therefore also being implemented in an effort to minimize any potential legal risks that may arise in the future. In summary, Project Radium LLC and SmartChain Software Solutions LLC will no longer be directly in control of the community in order to ensure the level of legal flexibility mentioned above. Having said that, both Justin and Tim will maintain their current standing within the community and contribute to the same extent as they have done in the past.

In order for the various aspects of the project to communicate and to decide things effectively, we have decided to use a 2/3 consensus rule whereby big decisions affecting all aspects of the project will be decided based on this rule. The three participants in the decision making will be Project Radium LLC (under Tim’s management), SmartChain Software Solutions LLC (under Justin’s management) and the Radium Core Community (under Alaniz’s management). Each respective corporate board or community board will need to come to their own 2/3 consensus to enact a final decision.

What happens next?
  • Community maintained resources will be renamed from “Project Radium” to “Radium Core”
  • Building a new community and Radium Core orientated website
  • Revamping and becoming more active on social media accounts
  • Designing and implementing a standardized way for core community members to contribute to the decision making process

In order to implement the legal aspect of this restructuring there will be some minor renames with respect to some of the media outlets currently available. This means that the current Twitter, Facebook, Medium, etc. accounts will be renamed (not changed or new ones made) to Radium Core to move away from the name Project Radium (which will from now on be associated with the company Tim is building).

Relating directly to the community there are various things that we will be working on in the near future. Specifically we plan to create a new website which will be solely focused on Radium Core, the community and the SmartChain. In this way we can create a collection of resources related to Radium as well as the SmartChain for everyone to have easy access to. The current Project Radium website will become more focused on the business side and cater towards more corporate clients / viewers.

We also plan on updating the current Bitcointalk OP as this is still regarded as Radium’s “landing page” within the crypto community. Other things we want to do are revamping and becoming more active on social media accounts, as well as providing more regular community updates on our blog and on Bitcointalk.

Other Items
  • The SmartChain update is still being worked on and substantial progress is being made. We aim to have a specific update post on progress early in the new year.
  • We would also like to remind everyone to join the official Telegram group chat at https://telegram.me/RadiumOfficial
  • There is now a Radium Telegram tipping bot which can be used both in the Radium chat group and at https://telegram.me/radiumbot

We would like to thank everyone for their continued support and wish everyone happy holidays!

Coinitrage.com Arbitrage Firm now accepts RADS!

Live chat support is now available on-site to RADS users, or forum support is also available on our BitcoinTalk ANN: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1725963.0

Please note that while we offer services with RADS, we are not directly affiliated with the developers of the coin. Please read our Terms of Service before using the Coinitrage Arbitrage Platform!

I just want to reiterate that the Radium developers do not endorse, are not affiliated with and advise all RADS users to exercise maximum caution with this. I do not want to criticize something that I haven't researched but it could be a scam so please make sure you research carefully before getting involved in any way!

Also the tiny text in this post says:
"Please note that while we offer services with RADS, we are not directly affiliated with the developers of the coin. Please read our Terms of Service before using the Coinitrage Arbitrage Platform!"

Do you know any information about the lost coin?

Quote
More than 400k $RADS may be lost https://chainz.cryptoid.info/rads/#!rich  (No activity for a year or more)
https://twitter.com/denaxider/status/760782010755473408

Yes. To our knowledge, those coins were lost early in the project by an early adopter due to a hard drive failure. When you 'lose' coins, you only lose the private key; those coins are still valid. For that reason, we have not excluded them from the total in circulation. However, for all intensive purposes, those coins should be considered out of circulation.

You can try to calculate the estimated value of.
Addresses and coins on them can be found here:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/explorer/index.stats.dws?n=500&coin=rads

500 addresses is 3059286 coins (99,89% of all coins).

Take the date of 1 January 2016. And look at what address did not change after this date.
Then calculate the amount of coins: total 239556 coins (7,82% of all coins).

A year has passed, so I think that these coins will never be used.

Code:
<script>
var utime_16y = 1451606400; // Fri, 01 Jan 2016 00:00:00 GMT
var utime_16j = 1467331200; // Fri, 01 Jul 2016 00:00:00 GMT

function status(response){if (response.status >= 200 && response.status < 300){return Promise.resolve(response)}else{return Promise.reject(new Error(response.statusText))}}
function json(response){return response.json()}

var url = 'http://chainz.cryptoid.info/rads/api.dws?q=totalcoins';
fetch(url).then(status).then(json).then(function(data)
{
console.log("Total coins: "+ data);
})
.catch(function(error){console.log('Request failed', error);});

var url = 'https://chainz.cryptoid.info/explorer/index.stats.dws?n=500&coin=rads';
fetch(url).then(status).then(json).then(function(data)
{
var addr = data.largestAddresses;
var s1 = 0; s2 = 0;
var top1000 = +data.distribution[2].total; // total coins from 1000 addresses
var top500 = 0;
for (var n in addr)
{
top500 = top500 + +addr[n].amount;

if ( Math.max( +addr[n].dtIn, +addr[n].dtOut ) < utime_16y ) {s1 = s1 + +addr[n].amount;}
if ( Math.max( +addr[n].dtIn, +addr[n].dtOut ) < utime_16j ) {s2 = s2 + +addr[n].amount;}
}
console.log("Not used with 01 jan 2016 - "+Math.floor(s1));
console.log("Not used with 01 jul 2016 - "+Math.floor(s2));
console.log("Top 500 addr - "+Math.floor(top500));
console.log("Top 1000addr - "+Math.floor(top1000));
})
.catch(function(error){console.log('Request failed', error);});
</script>

to be honest, you;re missing out by not staking. a fart produces more energy than what your computer will use.

@mybitcoin101: o.k....for example that means that i you have 1000 RADS and your are staking which begins after 60 conf and the wallet have to be open and encrypted the yearly reward would be around what`? somewhere here was writing about 18,5% wich would be i my example about 187 RADS per year.

Appreciate for an answer Smiley

@Altcoinlover:

First check your hash (TxID) you became after the transaction was confirmed. You can check it here: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/rads/

If you can find you will how much confirmations you got. If there is no confirmation (after more than 30 minutes there had to be conf.) you should write a ticket to support. Withdrawal from exchanges sometimes (i think technical issues) take a bit longer. Had this experience with smaller coins (e.g. QORA) also.

If you see the transaction on the blockchain your coins are safe!

I forgot one thing: You wrote you the withdraw to your new wallet. So be sure that it is 100% synchronized, otherwised you can´t see the coins (despite they are in your adress).
