you can use globalpowertune option or set each rig with pwr switch globalpowertune 90 (means performance level state max 90 watt for nvidia gpu series) globalpowertune 2 (means dpmstate for amd gpu series) or for a1b2c3 rig name you can use pwr a1b2c3 90 90 90 90 90 90 (6 nvidia gpu max 90 power consumption) pwr a1b2c3 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 (6 amd gpu dpmstate)

I have updated and clean ethos, but I can't get it to mine with 1050ti graphics, supposedly the minefield and the reading of the drivers should be automatic, but it tells me that it doesn't detect available drivers..

hi, I am using the new 1.2.4 software, I cant find out how to use the ccminer and define the algo. The algos are mentioned here in de docs, but can someone show me a working local.conf configuration for any coin that use the ccminer and the algo flags, for example for mining siacoin?

Hi
I am owner of MSI z170 pro carbon mobo with 7pcie slots. Also I use ethos. From last days I fighting with my rig, on all videos from other ppls who use ethos I see that when that put riser on pcie slot the card is show on ethos screen like. 01 card XXX. 02 card XXX etc depends on how many cards its on but always in numerical 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 etc. In my rig something is messed I have all 7 cards pluget to 7 pcie slots and it says card 1,2,3,5,7,8,9. Wtf? Always missing nr card hangs up no point it is ethos or windows
I try change risers and cards always same numeric mess and hangs do my mobo is broken?

did you change bios settings for M.2 type? i guess mobo mapped M.2 ports as pcie slot integrated graphics and M2 port maybe mapped as gpu0 and 4 update bios rom and clear it to default then change only necessary settings on bios (4g encoding gen 2 pcie idg/pge..)

No I didn't clean bios install 0 changes only enabled 4g for mining and peg to gen1 nothing more

Have a look at the latest sample config at the ethos site. http://ethosdistro.com/pool.txtThis is down the bottom. # SAMPLE DUALMINER CONFIG (for claymore) # --------------------------------------------------------- # dualminer enabled # dualminer-coin sia # dualminer-pool sia-us-east1.nanopool.org:7777 # dualminer-wallet c3bdac90de1e328364766447440d3f192f3c920a1e88d33cf05b1de50e27b894c49d11904fda # --------------------------------------------------------- Haven't tested it, but if your rigs are local (mine are not and it takes days to get them rebooted) then give it a try. I'm assuming you could add a -dcri setting in there

I have a doubt, testing about 1050ti, in windows I get more than 15 mhs, in ethos I am not able to take out the 14 mhs without becoming unstable and the hash falls and varies, I test in all ways with the globalmem from 3000 to 4500 increasing from 100 in 100 values... any suggestions?

http://ethosdistro.com/blog/A message from the Founder Posted on September 10th, 2017 After careful consideration, I have decided to leave the crypto communities. I have handed off the development of ethOS into extremely capable hands, and wish my team the best of luck achieving success in everything they do. There is to be no planned interruption of services. All orders will continue to be fulfilled. No end-users will be materially affected by this change in leadership. Sincerely, kotarius Don't know who is taking over, but I do know all my systems are down this morning and I am living in a cold and quite house for the first time in about 2 years... Systems are not booting with an ip and not mining, don't have time to fix them now, but wow, no notice! I hope kotarius is ok.

You dont need to edit the stub. Everything can be done from the local.conf

I already updated the version with DAG Fix Version 1.2.4. I did not encountered any downtime. My location is from Philippines in Quezon City. I thinks ethOS is doing fine.

Having multiple issues with EthOS trying to detect & user more than 9 GPU. EthOS detects the 13 GPU's but then it just gets stuck at the flashing check your Riser one by one page and gets no futher, spent 4 hours troubleshooting this page alone to no success at all, System is using all RX580's with ASRock BTC+ H110
Only progress made was that no matter which cards are plugged in aslong as you have 9 plugged in it will boot successfully.
Decided to just ditch the use of EthOS even though this gets a mention on the official ASRock page and went for SimpleMining instead, 1st boot no changes to the machine 13 GPU's plugged in it worked and it was up and running with 15mins and mining.
Would prefer to stick with EthOS but the problem seems very OS related over Hardware now that ive proved SimpleMining works without making a simple hardware change, I have a USB with Simple and another USB with EthOS on it, EthOS is updated to latest version aswell.
