I began my career in the bictoin . In 2010 the bitcoin was worth 0.01 euro , now a bitcoin worth 400 euros. I ask myself a question: what will be its value in 2020 ?. A friend told me that its value will be 10,000 euros.  Sorry for the spelling for I am french .  Thank you for your replies  |

If any coin is going to succeed then it's going to be Bitcoin. It's been hard enough to push Bitcoin to the masses at it is already, there's no way people are going to pick another coin over it even if a new coin has superior users. If Bitcoin fails then Cryptocurrency fails. By 2020 we should be over 1k.

Depends on the demands. But I see now bitcoin more come popular and mainstream. I think if it's will be bigger, doesn't rule out the possibility if the price will reach 10,000 euros.

2020 is 5 more years from now, it's hard to predict how much the value of 1 bitcoin. But i hope the price will go up to 10.000 euros as you said. but i'm sure the bitcoin price will increase.

Could be better if huge company such as Google or Apple accept bitcoin though.
It's a matter of time, I'm sure of it. Bitcoin is becoming very mainstream lately. The thing we can do to help with it is start using Bitcoin even more |

Price is in direct correlation of demand! If we somehow manage to increase demand by 10x or more in next few years prices could easily follow that rise!

This is not so far away from now 4 years.
Lot of good things can be accomplished! Good thing we are on the good way to see more btc adoption and raise! Awareness is rising every day!
Price could fluctuate from 300 to 1000$ who knows ..

With recent center of attention by medias, it's demand will keep on growing even further as the room is so big that wouldn't just stop (at least for now) but we've all seen it could still be manipulated either way so I think a little over $1000 would be the ideal price to guess upon reaching 2020 in the future (that's if nothing bad goes and disrupts these movements).

If Bitcoin has increased in value within 5-6 by 10 folds or more, then I feel it could increase further as years pass by. If by 2020 more merchants accept Bitcoin and also hold it instead of converting it to fiat, and more people are aware of its benefits, then it's value is bound to increase.

my bet is 800-1000 euro, bitcoin is continuously rising, right now bitcoin price is fluctuating downward but it is normal it will eventually rise again
and if bitcoin gain more popularity specially to new generation and it will give bitcoin a boost to continuously rising and eventually reach the price that
we have been dreaming.

This should be moved into the speculation subform. Speculating is one of my favorite pastimes so I will still say mine: I think by about 2020 we are going to be at a solid 4 to 5 figures value, the value is completely impossible to know, from 5USD to 99K USD, anything on that range is pretty much granted, which is why im not touching my BTC for 5+ years.

bitcoin will either be worth a lot or end up being worth nothing. i believe in the long term potential of bitcoin and that we will see the price break through $1000 again and stay above that price level. i don't think in terms of bitcoin reaching $5000 or $10000 while we haven't seen the price at $1000 yet. once we hit $1000 then we'll be thinking in the range of $2000 as being the new target.
