Bitcoin in 2020

i can totally see bitcoin become successful in the future because it is on a good path despite all the negative news surrounding it. so i guess the price of 1 bitcoin is going to be much higher that what it is right now but 10,000 euros is a bit high and far from what i have in mind.

you have great experience,you know bitcoin early,and its amazing feeling when you hold bitcoin from 2010 and relize the price blow up so high,have you think that bitcoin will much bigger than you first time know bitcoin?i am know bitcoin in 2013,and its have more than $500 price,and now going down,so i can't predict what happen next,maybe just like now,the price up and down in a week or a month.

Bitcoin in 2020, I think bitcoin will bee worth a lot not 10k.
But a lot of money like 4k, bitcoin has a good future a head.

The thing is nobody knows for sure where we will be in 5 years from now and the price is only one aspect of Bitcoin. Most of us are more interested in

other possibilities that might be enabled, if this technology are applied to more areas than just being a currency. The speculators will come and go and

they will just be interested in the price. If for examples Smart contracts are fully developed and successful and the currency token fail, it would still be

a great technology.

All its going to take is for us to hit $1000 solid and manage to stay their. If we manage to do this then a lot more people are going to start taking bitcoin seriously and see the full potential of it. For some at the moment its still too much of a risk. Still a safer bet than those pesky altcoins imo.

The price of bitcoin in 2020 could be anything literally from $0 to infinity. Only a psychic can tell you what the price would be exactly in 2020.

I think there will be a point where we'll no longer measure the value of btc by fiat money, but, instead, we'll value fiat money by the amount of btc it is capable of buying. This means asset prices will be set in btc instead of fiat.

I think that if this happens, and when this happens, we can fairly think about 10.000 € per btc. But there's no way to be sure of anything related to it. it's sill too recent and disruptive.

we can do a stupid math and say, that in 6 years, from 2010 to 2016 it increased by 4000x, since we still need 4 years to reach 2020, and 4 is 2/3 of 6

we would end with an additional 2/3 of 4000x, which is 2666x, in the end it will be 6666x, from 0.01, so around $6666, as a stable value

I think in 2020 bitcoin prices will rise high, it may be related to the year 2010, which makes the price of bitcoin be riding high at the time. and perhaps bitcoin prices probably will rise dramatically, perhaps 2X than the price in 2010 or the equivalent of $ 2,100 for one bitcoin

Friends of mine who laughed only a couple years ago when i told them about bitcoin are now asking me how to buy them, that to me is a sure sign the general masses are about to buy in.

Instead of speculating over the price, we should speculate over the capacity of the network. If changes are made to allow up to 10 millions transactions each day, BTC's value will skyrocket. If nothing changes, BTC's price will not change much either. Sorry to point it out, but the 2 are linked.

From current condition, i think bitcoin price will be about $5,000 or about 4600 Euros in 2020.
But, if block size stuck at 1MB, bitcoin price will be about $900 or about 828 Euros in 2020.

Could be better if huge company such as Google or Apple accept bitcoin though.

Google? A bit more likely, but Apple? Never. Those guys are all about milking people, they won't bother.

On the other hand, we'll have a clearer prediction for 2020 after we see what happens in the block halving this year.

I think bitcoin will not be worth as much as it 10k dollars, in 2020, 4 years. it is not a long time. bitcoin need more time, to be worth 10k dollars

A lot of the increases that will happen with Bitcoin's price will relate around the development of Bitcoin, namely the blocksize right now, and, as you said, the number of people who will be using Bitcoin in the future. Bitcoin certainly has potential to generate value, but we will have to find ways to convince people to buy and use Bitcoin, and continually improve.
