Hello LiskHQ, Could I buy a few more lisk now or I have to wait for the API restore.
Thank you beforehand.

Yes, all ok. Your transactions might not show up on the ICO page though during the next hours. However, as long as it's on the blockchain all is good.

Hey guys, any updates? BTC Price shows as "~" for me

Oliver is currently working on the issue.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Yes, big drops... but not usually below ICO price. That's the problem in your analysis. So they dropped from very HIGH ROI to around ICO or above ICO. Still would have been better to buy ICO.

It's not so clear what will happen, if it were, then making money would be automatic. Life is not so easy.

Another reason why Lisk will drop upon launch.

FACT: The coin price of largest ICOs has dropped by 60% on average upon launch on exchanges.

Conclusion: Skip buying on Lisk ICO and buy cheap Lisk after it launches on exchanges in next 2 to 3 weeks

we don't care about the drop that could happen after ico, we just care about the progress the coin will do and the price it will reach during this year.

I know why your pray will never be answered!

Those drop after lunch graphs show a drop NOT from the ico final price but from the 1 transaction. ETH opened multiple times above ico price, and always all initial participants were in profit. Sure Lisk is overbought now because people see it as a new ethereum. Better buy half in ico and wait another half to buy if market cap goes to 2 mil. It's each investor's strategy.

the question is, why not making more as 101 accounts of LISK participating in the new 36.000 LISK forged daily

They mentioned somewhere that that the "101" could be increased later, if needed.

Hello. I am thinking of running a delegate. I do have a fair share in ICO, but its not enough to guarantee my spot in 101 delegate. Any thoughts? haha

Soon they run for the hills with all your BTC and buy virgins

The virgins disappeared together with the unicorns, if I'm not mistaken.

Having a huge stake does not mean having a spot as a delegate Smiley You'd have to be a trusted/popular member of the community with reliable server specs to host a Lisk node for the community to vote you as a delegate.

I believe most of those were still higher than their ICO prices even after the dip. Regards the dips themselves...

Ether was overpriced by the limited supply of the Ethercoin IOU which was trading before Ethereum was released. Similarly Augur will be overpriced by limited REP tokens on GateCoin and probably correct at launch.

The BitShares price dipped because it was released without BitAssets which only came a few weeks later. (If you extended your BTS graph a few days later, you would see BitShares rise 700% over the next 30 days.)

I didn't participate in the others so don't have info on them.

In the case of Lisk there is no limited IOU token already available on exchange that would overprice it pre-release so provided there are no major disappointments it should do pretty well.

If you also are in, there was a big way and effort to get informed in time about the investment and a big risk was taken anyway,
making first-hand contributions. So, value your investment.

I talked about this before, but is always good to advise:

At this point, the crowdfunding exceeded any expectation.

Probably after big dumps, we'll be going to the moon...
So, just remember... If you sell under 100k satoshi, very likely next day or next weeks, when you wake up, someone will be selling at least for 150k.

Of course, that can happen in the beginning or after the whales make some waves, trying to take coins from the weak hands, when cheap coins may be falling from the skies...

Why there's no BTC there?
there's un update, they're fixing it.

Not be a jerk, but if they can't handle something as simple as a BTC ticker on their homepage, how can we expect that this team of 2 (one of which is part-time only in the evenings), can handle a cryptocurrency with the ambitions they supposedly have?  What does this simple bug reveal about their level of competence or lack thereof?

I'm not trying to FUD, I'm just saying, being a software engineer myself, I have been shaking my head at people not knowing the difference between JavaScript and Java, the farce of 'decentralization' that Lisk is proclaiming even though their 'dApps' are release through 'http' and then this stupidly simple bug which just takes the cake on top of it all.

I mean, seriously guys, oh and, Lisk websites and Crypti websites are almost exact clones of each other, not to mention Lisk is just a name change away from Crypti.

It's a bug on the Coinbase API, not a simple update as you may think.

My Lisk is slowly but steadily increasing as we speak. Yessssss.  Cheesy

I would not trust the current estimates as the ICO page is being actively worked on.

So us who bought in - do we just wait now?  Isn't there any way to actually get the LISK we've bought, because my "current estimate" keeps getting lower and lower and lower  Huh
