How many Lisk will receive each user for his Lisk signature?.

If you had it for 5 weeks it'll be around 0.3 btc worth at ICO price

If true that is actually a very very good result and nice amount.

How to claim?

All future ICO should incorp this for advertising .

Hey guys, concerning the passphrases we had to generate for the Lisk confirmation...

Could we use them as a sort of "cold wallet"?

For example, Can I store it and use the Lisk at the end of this year?

Cheers,

TRH

It's by definition not a cold wallet, because the passphrase was generated on a hot, internet-connected machine

Personally, I used a live-cd when I logged into lisk website to generate my passphrases.

I will be moving all my LISK to cold storage (keys generated on offline machine) after launch

Good riddance Faggot, It's called having a sense of humor.  Fucktards like you have no idea of this concept huh.

You kiss your father with that mouth?  You realize this is 2016 and people don't use that term anymore, right?

How does it feel to be called out as an uneducated, homophobic bitch?

What's the difference between Lisk Cash Tech Dev Fund ($M USD): 5.793 and Lisk Market Cap ($M USD): 7.516 ?
Why dev have 2 $M less?

The Technology Development Fund ($5.793M) is the raw cash value of the 14,079 donated BTC.  This money will fund further code development of Lisk.  In return for this donation of 14,079 BTC, the BTC donors will split among themselves around 77M Lisk.

The Market Cap includes:

the cash Tech Dev Fund
+ 15.00M Lisk (worth 2740 BTC)  held back by Lisk Foundation for founder rewards and future payments / bounties
+ 5.75M Lisk (worth 1049 BTC) distributed to former Cryptti XCR holders as "payment" for the Version 0.5.5 code base Lisk will use at launch
+ 2.17M Lisk (worth 397 BTC) that were handed out as early donation bonuses.

The difference between the cash Tech Dev Fund and Market Cap are effectively additional payments for Management Fee / Infrastructure / Advertising expenses as a 23% overhead rate.

Nope, I still use it.  You can call me whatever you want, I believe in the 1st amendment.

words mean whatever meaning you put to it.  If you found my talk offensive, that's your problem.  Maybe you should expand your mind outside of the small box you live in.

and twitter?

mailing list?

Haven't seen such info yet

We will release the exact bounty numbers next week.

Hey guys, concerning the passphrases we had to generate for the Lisk confirmation...

For example, Can I store it and use the Lisk at the end of this year?

Technically, it's not a cold wallet anymore. But you can simply store the passphrase and use it years later.

Are there instructions for generating keys/redeeming accounts for involvement in the Twitter-following campaign?  I've been following LISK since they had under 1000 followers.

I'd like to know how to extract my keys from this.

1 week after launch we will message you on your social media accounts. We simply ask for your address to which we will then send the bounties.

A few important things for now:

General:

- We currently plan to launch on the 11th April. This is not the exact date, just an estimate.
- All support enquiries please via our support center!
- I will update the BTT OP this evening with all important information.

ICO:

- The given BTC amount on our website is an estimation. Some transactions were after the time limit, so they will be refunded. The collect amount is more like 14,009 BTC.
- We will release the exact ICO numbers (total collected, satoshi price, number of participants, number of exchanges etc..) end of this week. It takes a few days to confirm every transaction by hand.
- We will also provide a list with all exchange IDs, the generated LISK address and its balance next week. So you can see if you are included.
- I will talk with Oliver and our advisers about what we do with Lin's XCR deposit. We don't want to make a crude statement.

Lisk Trading:

- Please don't buy any LISK in this forum. The owner can reset the passphrases by simply open a ticket on our support center and provide us with his email address and exchange ID. We check the data and if all is good, we will reset the passphrases.

Passphrases/keys:

- You have time to generate your passphrases until the 4th April! We will also provide a tool this week to validate if your saved passphrase is correct or not.
- If you lost the passphrases please send us a ticket on http://support.lisk.io/.
- We will provide a video and detailed instructions on how to generate your passphrases this week.
- Everyone who generated a key and lost it, will also loose access to his LISK.
- Everyone who didn't generate a key will be contacted 1-2 weeks after launch. He can then get his LISK via email. This method is not the most secure option, therefore please generate your passphrases ASAP! Also there will be a deadline after which the non-collected LISK will go into the bounty fund.

Bounties:

- We will provide exact bounty numbers next week.

Lisk Raises $6 Million in ICO for Building DApps in JavaScript

Lisk, a cryptocurrency with the promise of making it easier for the worldwide developer community to build decentralized applications (DApps), has concluded its ICO and raised over $6 million. The appeal of Lisk is its ability to use JavaScript to create DApps – JavaScript is the most popular language on Github and is widely used in web development.

The ICO raised 14,079 BTC (via direct BTC sales and ShapeShift sales via other cryptocurrencies), and 80,696,177 XCR (Crypti) which total to $6.15 million according to the data from Coinmarketcap at the time of publication.

Lisk provides its own APIs for use by developers. It runs each DApp as a separate sidechain of Lisk and in the future plans to migrate to a Lisk VM, similar to Ethereum. Through its APIs, Lisk is also targeting the Internet of Things (IoT) space, which is finding increased interest among developers and startups especially the interaction of IoT with blockchains.

The project has already been deployed to Microsoft Azure’s ‘Blockchain as a Service’ (BaaS), and it was one of the projects highlighted by an official Azure blog post. The source code can be found on Github. It also makes it easy for developers to connect the tools they are familiar with, such as github, making the transition from building web apps to DApps a smooth one.

Lisk uses a proof of stake model to secure its blockchain, and considering the potential size increases and hardware requirements, nodes might do well to run off of Azure instead of their own hardware. The proof of stake model used is a Delegated Proof of Stake first pioneered by another cryptocurrency Bitshares. Lisk retains the initial default setting of 101 delegates in Bitshares. These delegates are elected by the coin-holders and need a threshold to get elected. The transaction fees is shared among these 101 delegates.

Origins

The Lisk project has been carved out of Crypti, another cryptocurrency, when some members of the founding Crypti team disagreed with the direction of that cryptocurrency. The team behind Lisk is Max Kordek and Olivier Beddows.

Distribution

A total of 100,000,000 Lisk will be distributed The distribution is as follows:

    85% for ICO participants
    8% for the core team
    4% for campaigns and bounties
    2% for advisers and partners
    1% for social bounty campaigns

The inflation rate is 5 LISK per block, which gets lowered by 1 every year until it reaches a stable block reward of 1 LISK per block. The supply is uncapped, but the inflation rate decreases over time.
