in a way wouldn't the rise of BTC encourage a dump as people would want to lock in btc profits before the dump. so soon all alts down and btc up some people may not want to throw their btc at alts given the rise either way its profit kerching

no. not all coins do the opposite of what bitcoin does.

Generally when new money comes in, they get put into altcoins while bitcoin moves up so they can increase their bitcoin holding while the price also moves up.  When the price goes down, people move from alts to bitcoin then to fiat and thus bitcoin and altcoins go down.

Not really.

A rising tide lifts all boats.

When BTC goes up, the euphoria level (aka market sentiment) of crypto community goes through the roof and almost all Alts go up too. Green up arrows everywhere.

With today's rate of 1 BTC = $450

The value of the total raised ICO fund has gone up:

14,082 BTC + 80,742,575 XCR = $7.23 million

So... What do you want to say at the end ?

Easy 100 millions marketcap at lauch.

Under litcoin ?

Agreed! LISK has a good chance at being valued at $90 US per LISK or 2 million satoshi in 2 years after it's been released.  As long as the tech is efficient and dapps are being created and being utilized by the masses LISK has a reason to be 1/5 of bitcoin's value.
