is there any faucet for lisk?
I would like to know this too. Lindsey said that there will be a faucet from the team, there are one or two unofficial ones i believe. Any link to those? There was a lisk faucet some time ago. And it was paying great. I earned 2 or 3 lisk in one or two day. But of course, it didn't last long. |

lets talk about lisk, Lisk is the 21st largest cryptocurrency in the world so lets find out who they are and what they are trying to achieve.
Lisk is developing a Software development kit for java script developers to come and develop decentralized applications on the block chain.
It is similar to ethereum but it has quite unique in 3 ways.
a) Programming language : to build an application on ehtereum platform the programmer has to learn solidity (a new programming language) which very few developers know whereas lisk is going to provide that opportunity for java script developers so they are hitting the much bigger market.
b) Side chains : Well the biggest problem we are facing with ethereum and bitcoin is scalability. On the ethereums network all the transactions of the smart contract has to go through to main network which is causing to slow the network down meaning more trasaction time and cost and if there is a single problem in any of the smart contract the whole network slows down.
But with lisk its different lisk is introducing the idea of side chains where all the smart contracts will have there own seperate side chains which will be connected to lisk network so transaction related to thos Dapps will be floating on their own network meaning more scalability.
Don't forget Scalability is the main issue faced by blockchain right now and Cardano,Eos,Lisk they all are working on the same thing but in a different structure.
c) Software Development kit : Since the blockchain technology is so new and complex there are very few limited developers that can develop and application on the Blockchain. Lisk is developing a tool (SDK) to provide it to Developers so can have easy transmission from Http to Blockchain which will bring more innovations in the blockchain technology

I just dont understand why the lisk price isnt mooning after that all? There are so many advices to buy lisk - e.g. Hacked or iNVEZZ - and so many buyers - e.g. Poloniex, Bittrex, ... I have the feeling that something is holding down the price of it... and these are not only bears...  |
