The secret is just do not keep all eggs in one basket. That's one of the main rules you have to know, its the best to hold your bitcoins on multiple wallets so you can not lose them all at once by some hackers or something, its the best to do for your bitcoins.

Even though I feel that security is more important than convenience, I still find myself sticking to convenience more. I use an online wallet provider, easy and fast to use. Does anyone use an offline wallet for storing purposes, and do anyone suggest using that? I place my trust in the online wallet provider, so I hope nothing goes wrong. I do not own more than a bitcoin, so I guess it is still 'safe'.

I believe storing them in my computer in an ordinary bitcoin core wallet, I don't think it is more vulnerably as long as the computer and my connection is kept secure enough both physically from eavesdropping or from Trojans etc...

I try to diversify. I keep a little in an android mycellium app, and most of my savings that are in bitcoin I keep inside a Ledger Wallet. I think it's the safest way to keep bitcoins nowadays.

Well i store my bitcoin in exchange , When the price go up i go to site and immediately exchange and keep it there in my own currency if bitcoins price goes down i sell that's how i store and make profit also i save some in wallet to top-ups etc.
My Bitcoins are stored at a online wallets. It is very good to use. And I like it to use. It is very easy to use. But some people also store them on their own computer, because they think online wallets are not so very secure. Blockchain.info is a trustable online wallet i'm using it from 2 year have'nt got any problem at all , just there beta version sucks get's error while sending to multiple addresses in one transaction , But there security is awesome . im with u dude. i think blockchain.info is enough to me to store all of my bitcoin, and as long as I use blockchain, I find that its security was superb. i hope you never encounter any problem, like hacking while you are using blockchain.info but you should keep this in mind that when you use a web wallet or any online wallet you are taking a risk. so for storing your bitcoins if the amount is big, you should always use cold storage (any offline wallet)

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip. Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Some online wallet also offer cold storage facility called vault or something like that. Does it's just the same with offline wallet on security terms?

Basic rule : One should never give out control over his coins to others.

Not really, its still someone else that has the private keys and not you. I've said it before and I'll say it again... Never use an online wallet! You'll lose it all at some point. I use Mycelium for Android and paper wallets. 99% of the time I'm doing everything with my BlackBerry Z30. If I'm trying to make vanity paper wallets or regular paper wallets I have to use a laptop unfortunately. I don't own a (functioning) computer so I just borrow the wife's. She doesn't appreciate it when I boot it up with an Ubuntu Live USB

I store my bitcoins in online wallets because I might need them anytime when I have to pay for a service or product. But I still think that offline or cold storage wallets are the safest ever wallets. I use both earlier but switched to online now as I need to transact more quickly now a days.

Many people store it on online wallets. But I think that is the best to store your Bitcoins online. It is also very secure and safe. But some people doesnt even know there is a online wallets and they safe it on their own computers.
Maybe they dont trust the online wallets or something.

Yes. Rising of bitcoin price is highly based on using of bitcoin, more people use bitcoin, demand bitcoin, then bitcoin price go up, and online wallets are good for storing bitcoin for me too, I personally use online wallet Xapo for storing.
