For me i will stored my bitcoin in cold storage(electrum) half of my collected bitcoin every week. and half of my collected bitcoin is in my online wallet which is coinbase.. Coinbase is easy to use and there's no fee for every transaction but its just my temporary wallet because there's a chance that the site will close or down..

Hello everyone as the title says ^ Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?
just imagine that bitcoin is real money, some people keep money on daily wallet for use it daily, and save in banks account for saving or deposite, same with bitcoin, people store bitcoin in online wallet for daily use, tradng or another, and store on hardware wllet or vault for saving and waiting for price increase.

I do the same. I store my bitcoin funds at blockchain wallet. I'm content with them and their security is good enough. When I want to log in, they ask me special code they send to my email address. In this way, I'm double protected from hacking.

Not if the virus is already on your pc, they can steal the private key when you send the money it gets decrypted in the browser. You also need to keep your PC secure.

I store my bitcoin in a online wallet, due the security reason I only do this with low amounts of bitcoins, with high amounts I use a paper wallet because that is a lot more secure. If you ask me its the best to have multiple online wallets and one paper wallet, its working very good for me.

I use few wallets to store as small units. The main reason is that if something goes wrong also it won't affect much, because only a few portion gets lost.

I store my bitcoins in my online wallets, I store my bitcoins in multiple wallets mostly on the block chain because that is the one I trusting the most. I also have some paper wallets for high amounts of bitcoins that I want to store for a long term, I really love it because its very safe.

You can use electrum wallet for PC wallet storage, at least that way you know that the money is in your pocket, not with a 3rd party.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip. Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

You must take security precautions! Hold your coins in multiple wallets its is best solution. Blockchain,Multibit.. Also one good amount will be good to be stored in cold wallet! Always use good strong password and change it periodically!
I do agree with the friends who periodically change the passwords and keep changing it on with strong new password. Besides, as security precautions, we can try the coins in multiple wallets like Multi bit or Block chain etc.

I've been using a Ledger nano for several months now and am loving it. For a long time I used paper wallets for my storage, but finally decided to try a hardware wallet. The ledger was cheap and works great. I can't believe it took me so long to get one.

i was thinking about buying a hardware wallet so i checked Trezor's price and was thrown off by the idea of paying for wallet. is leger cheaper? i might still buy one when i have much more bitcoin to store.
