lol that was obvious! of course you are going to store it in a wallet that was generic. op was asking if where do you store, whether on a desktop wallet, hardware, or on cloud.

I have a question, what is the best hardware wallet do you recommend? Base on experience or preferences.

I store most of mine on dedicated rigs setup to host a wallet. Stripped down to only the essential OS (linux) and the bitcoin client with a strong passphrase (different) setup on all of them. I only log in and connect to the internet, through a heavily configured firewall, when I need to transact. I currently have two of these setup with most of my holdings spread across them equally.
I have been considering a paper wallet, I do have one I made that has a tiny amount of BTC on it, but still think log-term storage to be an issue along with what can happen to it. Even laminated it could get destroyed.
I also have a wallet on my main machine as well as a lite smartphone version that I keep real small amounts of BTC on for more periodic transactions. I also keep some coins on Coinbase in their Mulisig Vault, but do not have 100% trust there in the event they would go under, so it is a small portion as well. Mainly enough if I would want to sell quickly.
I have been looking into a hardware wallet, but still have yet to take that plunge.

Cold storage is the only way to go. Storing them on anything online is just not safe. If you don't understand that your are probably not fit to use bitcoin.
Just remember that we are talking about real money here.

bitcoin classic is not real bitcoin its an altcoin, better use bitcoin core. When it is supported by 90% of the miners, it will become a bitcoin. The bitcoin core will be an altcoin. It is all relative.

You are right for sure, but its also the fact online storing is very easy for people that do not the bitcoin full, I think that is why people are using the online wallets because its easy. if they would use a cold storage it would be better but also more work for them some of them even do not know what a cold storage is if you ask them.

If somebody does not have the Bitcoin Core wallet or does not want to store the whole blockchain, they can use the online wallet.

The safest place to store your bitcoin is in cold storage or Paper
I Personally store it in my PC, as long that I didn't download malware or something like that, it's save.

I doubt your dedicated rigs will last longer than a simple piece of paper! Laminating doesn't help much, the only thing that can really destroy it, is fire, and laminating won't help you there. You could drill a QR-code in a titanium plate to withstand fire. Something like this: Or just make multiple copies of a paper wallet, but that increases the risk of being compromised.

The wallet is the best way, but to make it better is to store the coins on your USB which is offline. If for one bough a trezor wallet and whenever i need access i just plugin in to my pc.

I use an online wallet provider, easy and fast to use. Does anyone use an offline wallet for storing purposes, and do anyone suggest using that? I place my trust in the online wallet provider, so I hope nothing goes wrong. I hope no need to go with Offline wallets I guess.
