There have been legitimate scientific studies on such things, and miracles do not exist... also, prayer does not work... that's a fact proven with scientific studies as well...

Try praying for someone who lost a leg, arm, hand, or even a finger to grow it back... let me know how that goes...

There are people who even lost more than that yet they still have faith in God and keep praying. We may not be on scientific studies but this are way beyond science can explain. I answered this elsewhere. Go the next step. Ask, "Why didn't Jesus simply take the punishment for sin, and then zap us all to Heaven?" The answer is two-part.

1. God is giving us all a chance. Since believing God was where the first people failed, we all must be tested as to believing God. Jesus salvation gives us a time to be tested. Those having faith in Jesus salvation will be saved.

2. God does it this way so that He has an excuse to reward us in ways similar to the ways that He rewarded Jesus for the work of salvation. We save some people. We will be rewarded for it. If we didn't have time here, we wouldn't be able to save anyone. God is giving us Jesus-glory for those we get saved.

I am not after you to get you saved for the extra glory. I am attempting it for the blessedness you will receive. It's no skin off my nose if you are not saved, but I will accept the extra glory I get for my part in saving you if I do.

Are you a good net-worker? Turn to faith in Jesus salvation and be saved. Then become an honest TV evangelist and save a bunch more people. Your glory in Heaven will be great, forever and ever, if you do this. I would do it but I am not the TV evangelist type.

Here's my proof: I believe in him. When I pray, I feel a special connection. I've been through some very scary and dreadful times throughout my life, of which I will not be discussing, but throughout those times I reached out to God. I feel he heard me and responded. He made me feel better.

I've always felt this way ever since I've been a kid. My anxiety was practically gone and some other issues I had went away after I reached out and followed the path he provided.

A lot of people will say bullshit. That's fine. As I said, you can't prove he exists and that's not what God intended. He intended for us to love and help one another. To never sin and to follow God's path and decision. Stop trying to prove he exists by quoting scripture. You won't get into heaven by having heated debates of whether or not he exists. I absolutely agree. Religion has no need of a proof. We discussed this earlier in the thread --- most agreed that that religion and science were completely different domains; BADecker insists he can prove the existence of a Christian god.
