A good way to get some coins is joining IRC channels that rain altcoins, then sell them for BTC. Usually it is a little faster than faucets. You can also just hold/stake the coins you get.
I agree with you about holding the coins as a working method to make some earning, but about the altcoins are you meaning trading ? if it's the case, i think it's a little bit risked unless you have good experience about it starting Trading must have experience and knowledge about that. It will easier to know, what coin which will have potential to grow up the price and we can buy before it does. It is so simple but not easy to do as we heard.  |

I'm sort of new to bitcoin, I've made a couple bucks already from visiting ad sites, doing faucets, etc, but is there any other way to earn easy cash? Anyone got any suggestions?
Signature campaign? Most here are earning thru that, so you should try that too. Or if you have skills, then go to service and offer them. You might find someone you can work for to earn extra bitcoins. |

Well another project a bit more elaborated then the usually doublers running it may let some people to double but others wont see a satoshi from it.Its more risky then any thing,and you main investment will return after two years.
Return in two years? May be in dreams... Never invest to any doubler or HYIP kind of bitcoin investment programs. They will swollow your money in one or two days after giving you some initial confidence. Better stay away from them always. Now i see the mistake,anyway those kind of websites run not more then a month,usually as the deposits start to decrease its when the admin run away with the bitcoins,i should had said 2 days or 50 hours.Anyway this is just another scam that people will try to get more coins but in the end you may end without a pennie soo avoid it. |

If you are new to trading field you can easily lose your coins. You have to make right decision at the right time to get Profit out of trading and it requires experience. |

These are not even investments, Everything offering double on a period of weeks is just too ridiculous to even call scam, I find it amazing that some people still fall to this kind of traps even with users telling people not to use these sites. |

faucets? you must have a lots of time. Bitcoin is not free money or easy money. Just think bitcoins as another currency same as your country currency. If you want get fast go to money exchanger. |

faucets? you must have a lots of time. Also there are few more possible methods along with the above quoted methods. Those are captcha work which yields you some btc in terms of Satoshi. |

faucets? you must have a lots of time. For people who are newbie about bitcoin, i'm sure he/she will go faucets first. So maybe he still new about bitcoin. I advice you to leave faucets, better do signature campaign. and you can also go gambling though, beucase you can easily doubling your money. |

You should look for work at freelance places there alot of things to do there even here at bitcointalk there many people looking for people to do all sorts of things, from very odd to very common bitcointalk has it all  |
