I am keeping my Rubies and I trust the team to push this forward in some way or another!

They are bouncing back,it's a long way to go but they have already made it on top and great followers,just need to concentrate on projects that every one can use I'm sure their 4 digit will come back,the dev team are still here

Correct, there is not one 'technical' feature that separates it from other POS coins. As for only working on BetterBets that is untrue, however it's best to just show the work when it's ready versus me stating it. Rubies (and all gambling tied coins) conflicted heavily with laws in the larger exchanges countries (bittrex/poloniex), in my humble opinion, this is what hurt the momentum. Despite any coin being a speculative tool Rubies was listed on an established and well regarded business and then also listed on several more. When value dropped it hurt the potential for continued marketing to new businesses.

The option to convert Rubies will be available by the end of the year if desired, it's going to be entirely users choice conversion though and offered as a courtesy. We don't own Rubies, it's an openly traded blockchain based coin and we have no control nor wish to control markets. Our team helped bring it to life though and giving users the option to convert is going to be available as stated months ago. The new project doesn't rely on market makers to give the new token value, it will rely on business profits (among many more factors) and then gain market value because of this. More details will come when the option for Rubies to be exchanged for the new token is available.

The issues with exchanges is crazy they have coins used in casinos maybe they were just looking for money to list. I am interested in the new token when it comes out. What blockchain will it be on? There is a few I can guess nxt, counterparty, waves?

After several discussions over the past weeks, the Moneypot team found a good strategy to benefit Rubies. We are happy as a team to see a positive direction for this currency and it's usage. More details will come once everything is finalized and their team is ready to reveal it. Just checked, and all the nodes and exchanges are on the same correct block height. Looks like you'll need to re-sync. Follow my instructions in previous posts if you need help with this.

I did notice after those buy orders were placed the PoS weight jumped up high quickly, as if someone who had a lot of RBIES in there wallet for a long time brought them back online again.

General note: If you can all check your wallet block height matches the explorer, and report back if its very different.

Thankfully RBIES syncs really fast, just got done resyncing my h5 and doge wallets for the 40th time, not fun. That should hopefully fix the problem.

Quick question; I'm on a Mac and currently using wallet version 1.2.0.3. Do I really need to update to 1.2.1.0 as indicated in your instructional post? Everything seems to be working fine with my current wallet, and the wallet download page still shows the version I'm on as the latest version. Please advise. Thanks!

I've also downloaded the new version and now syncing it,but it's taking a lot of time of time after 24 hours it's only 35% completed,is there a way to fasttract downloading the whole blockchain?

I have tried to update to the Mac v1.2.1.0 version, but now the wallet crashes on the splash screen before it even opens up. I've backed up my wallet.dat file, and followed all the steps that you have detailed here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1364104.msg16300229#msg16300229

For the record, the app only crashes if I leave my original wallet.dat file in the "rubies" directory. But if I remove it from the directory, the wallet loads normally, but I don't have access to my wallet.

Any help?
