this coin get my attention right the first time. but did not got any free money yet
last days of 2017 and 2months after, price still high but there are so much people buy at so high price that lose their faith on this coin.
so much news release and did not change anything but dump.
I know this got potential but......my patient had some limit

Can anyone help me, please? I downloaded the latest version of verge QT-Wallet and it doesn't syncing. Only one active connection and no syncing. I created verge.conf file and added "tor=0" but it doesn't helped.

   its been steady around .06 cents (usd) for awhile.   

it fluxes a bit with btc.  which also has been stable around the 10k mark.

Are you people buying for long term or are you trying to day trade crypto? Buying $50 and expecting to turn into thousands in a day (or 2 months) is unrealistic on *any* investment. If you're in it because you believe in the technology, it's a long term investment. If you're buying it hoping to make a quick buck, there are a few things to understand, including exposure and return (among other things like trending, capitalization etc). If you are unable to weather a few months, I suggest you may be playing the wrong game, especially with low money in (less than $10k). Buying $50 worth and saying you're troubled it didn't go to the moon overnight and make you rich is silly.

Providing proof of your claims will help to advance it. I'm sure you're a trustworthy individual, however having evidence of your claim is more important than the claim in it of itself.

Being holding throughout February and it seems hopeless and the price just keeps sinking like a falling knife. I wonder what the team is working on. Whatever it is, It should be epic.

What's your exposure? How many XVG did you buy at that price? Have you continued to buy to hedge the purchase price? So if you bought 10k XVG  $0.10 each and then bought 10k XVG More at current price, you would have 20k XVG at a combined price of $0.08. The more you buy at current price above what you bought then drives that price gap down as well.

I've seen plenty of chart analysis that says even at $0.10/XVG that as a long term investment this should payout. Long-term is *not* 3 months to be clear.

You are lucky man) If you have a free bitcoin average your position, so that the average was below 960 sat. But do not sell to yourself at a loss. Verge very interesting coin and have perspective. The market will soon stabilize and everything will be fine.

I don't get it either. The entire market is still extremely volatile and everything is taking steps forward then back again at the moment. It is not just Verge. We can't expect to see any significant change in value while the market is still trying to recover.

I'm currently installing the v4.0.1.0-794660a-funky-beta wallet (core wallet !!) as all the desktops were AWE FULL !!!

It is recommended to keep it running ALL THE TIME so it's constantly synced ffs...This needs more support.

There was a recent hardfork. Maintaining all of those wallets is hard work. Just run the latest release, it's fine.

You must be new to running a full node - of course you run it all the time. Or you can stop and start it as needed, but the sync will take a bit of time.

No, it's just been years since i have had to, think last time was when i claimed BCH, and had to download the whole BTC chain !!! Was over 170Gb !!...lol

Excuse me! You just said 170Gigabyte or you mean something else? That is a whole lot of data and time in downloading that. Hmmm.

Yes it was, if you read it i was referring to the BTC blockchain, using a BCH Recovery Core wallet to transport your private keys from a BTC wallet.

I gave up after 5 day's...lol...Got my self a Ledger and used their inbuilt tool, that took 10 mins.

When i downloaded the Verge Blockchain (then added to appdata/roaming/VERGE) wallet it onlt took 15 mins/1.7Gb.
 

No offense, but you could've claimed your BCH with the electron cash wallet in 10 minutes...

Annnyway yeah 2GB of XVG is no big deal for most that are not in Africa.
