Today i sold all my verge coins with no profit or loss.
Im sure these messages wont stay for a long time here as this is a self-moderated thread and you delete anything and anyone that is against your interest.

yes im serious.   a 51% attack is totally different.   this was an attack on the TIMING, not the hash.
51% is 51% (or more) of the total hashrate of a coin.
This was something in the code that left open a window for too long.
 (im not a dev, so couldnt explain it correctly)

The exploit was fixed in 3hrs, and then sent out to the chain.

   read some other articles on what a 51% attack is... form an opinion.


1) dont know about teh funds yet.  few mroe days before we know what thats about.

Actually it was about 3 days with all over 35.000.000 XVG gone if i remember right. Ask an XVG miner and they tell you how long it took as a normal holder you mostly did not notice it.

Make a backup of your existing wallet.dat file (always do this anyway)
Replace the new QT exe with the old one.
(Re)Sync and all should be well.

You want to use the current (new) wallet to sync to the current chain.

Most of what that guy says is the same recycled FUD that r/cryptocurrency trolls use. He didn't even bother to do some proper research and get his facts straight lol.  

He's a washed up Poker player. Hasn't been in crypto long enough to make educated guesses let alone tell you what to buy and what to avoid. Most of his own picks are suspect. As I've always said, "do your own research" but DON'T DO IT ON YOUTUBE!

Instead of talking trash, lets just analyze for a minute.
So Verge asked for donations then a crowdfunding, instead of 3m, according to few posts got somewhere 2.5m.
Investor or so called new partner asked for 75m XVG.
So if $2.5m isn't enough to raise 75m xvg, what would you do?
What I like about this coin, is that it looks like the team doesn't hold majority of its coins, its community based.
Otherwise why would they raise money for 75m xvg ?
In the end we all forget that if a cryptocurrency is a "currency" then in some point it has to get into a circulation. I'm not talking about circulation in Exchanges, that's only a trading process.
So can we please wait for few more days to see where we're going?
Please understand either we'll have successful future, or this coin will become Trash.
I don't think the team can afford any negative impact.
So I believe 99% success.

Actually thats what i do, hence my posts are neither only negative nor positive. I see both sides and think about any given fact and argument.
While most people are either fantatic XVG or fanatic anti-XVG. This said, it makes me automaticly thinking out of the box as i take into consideration
all arguments, positive/negative.

There are just so many red flags by now that its really hard to continue believing of that mega ultra hyper super partnership, as much we all wish
such thing to happen. The signs are just red, which of course does not mean a surprise isn't possible, just not very likely.

Why someone announces he is paying for the ledger while Ledger isn't aware of anything is out of my common sense. At least i'am so far not aware that someone pays for a given thing the other enterprise isn't even aware of.

The next thing that personally worries me a bit is that 18.6M XVG have been moved, about the amount that was funded from investors, leaving the tokenpay amount in the crowdfund wallet. Maybe coincidence of course, but another little little little red flag.

The partner that refused that you have any partnership you mean?
And this partner asked you to send these funds on 14 different addresses?
Why this partner didnt come out to talk about it and fix all the mess you created?
