Coming up on block 519,000.....just 27,000 blocks away.
@ Harvey....you're so right. Last XVG reduction was sort of a non-event.

At least all mining has been smooth and network is scary fast.
Looks like our old "friend" Hashinator has been pestering other coins like TIPS and
lately YoCoin, although they deny it.
Orphans out the yingyang.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Huge amount of hash that first showed up on the Verge Coin chain when it was only scrypt  POW.
Mining, confirms all ground to a halt as the difficulty was driven up to stratoshpere.
Read back ....april I think.
It made XVG unusable and the reason its multi-algo today.
Just a nickname was given.

Reminds me of an old joke....
What's the last thing that goes through a bug's mind as he hits your windshield?

His ass.  Grin

Have to do something to lighten the mood.
I just keep buying 1,000,000 xvg at zero, zero, zero, zero, zero, zero, zero, three.
While I watch shitcoins like ribbitrewards (sounds like a kids show) rise and sell for .00000176

Crypto is a mystery to me sometimes.

haha.....nothing against Verge, but RibbitRewards is not a shitcoin.
Take a look on Loyyal, thats the company and it will get rebranded soon.
the coin you sold for 176 sat just passed 800+ sat
*lol* - thanks for selling!

Wow that Loyyal launch page looks pretty spiffy, all corporate sponsored and stuff. Good luck with the rebrand.

liljames whats gonna get rebranded exactly? The coin? Anyway personally it just looks like another alt coin offering no more than any others have offered. At 800sat with a coin of 400 million it could come crashing down very quickly indeed. I think I will pass on this. You cant compare it to verge man as verge is only going one way and I would bet my right testicle on that.

lol i was trying to get past that comment without a flame up.

"Yes yes, frogpointswhatsits, very good very good, move along now."

Don't make me type a full page rant about how Verge is the only legit crypto in the world (assuming there might be an alien civilization on the other end of the milky way that has an equally legit cryptocurrency, otherwise i would have said "in the universe").

All, I am with everyone here on agreeing that Verge is the best coin and the only option moving forward.  I have asked before, but why are we one of the lowest coins as far as price then?  How are we not up on the chart and we only were with our re brand only?  With the rebrand, we went over 50 Sat and not it doesn't look like we can even hit the teens anytime soon again!!

Why are we sooooo far down and so quiet with no excitement on moving this price up?  What can we do??  Why are others getting looked at more and why do they all have higher prices if we are the best??  Seems confusing!!!   Huh Huh

@ goldmoney10 - seems like every week theres a coin sucking up the BtC that's bailing from the coin of the week from week before.
Leaves us in the dust as there's a rush to the "next big thing".
Endless pumps...dumps...
I agree on the the features of the coin...just seems like privacy isn't that important to the average crypto buyer who , afterall.....pretty much drives all these markets.

Maybe some of the huge amount of btC coming out of rBR is looking for a home.

Yeah so if privacy isn't that important to the average crypto buyer I am not sure how we can get prices back up.  With no volume and not on Polo I don't see how this can happen as it only did before with the rebrand and most buyers at that time thought it was a new coin and just bought it and didn't know why.  Now it looks like we don't even exist so I am not sure how we can get the interest to go up here!!   Huh Huh

Well the Ophion Market turned out to be a scam, but the idea is still valid. Create a decentralized marketplace, that uses a currency to piggyback on it. Verge could be that.

Next reduction is coming in just over 70 million XVG.
At today's floor of 4 sats....that's less than 3 BtC.
Cheap verge is going to go away.

Should slow the selling pace by mine-sellers (switching pools, etc.) by half as well.

Currently it is just a facebook page and skype chat but a website is in Development. All free apart from I will have a paid members area on the website to pay for the hosting etc where I will offer specific portfolio management. All info is free for all though and so far I have a 100% success rate. I always have at least 1 active pick last one was steem when it very cheap. Verge is todays prediction it is a no brainer really and many more to come.

I got tired of all the HYPE and FUD so want to help new and experienced traders make well informed decisions about what coin to buy. My site may have the potential to manipulate coin prices in the future but I am getting around that by monitoring the number of views of the page before the information is pulled. This makes it fair.

How do you determine the value? Do you do it yourself (or in a group), or using technical analysis/algorithms?
