We are done with maintenance now. Please generate a new deposit address before depositing. Sorry for the delays!

New site design should be up sometime next week Smiley

Glad to hear, you are back on track. I have one question though, all the older deposits adresses are workable, or?. I have some possible transactions coming in olders adresses.

Cheers Smiley

Old addresses should still work, but in the future we suggest using a new deposit address.

It seems your Proof of Liabilities has not been updated for a bit (not sure how long).
It says on your site that it's updated every 24 hours

My account has ~71k bits and has had around that for 2-3 days, yet it isn't included there.
You should either change the text claiming it's updated every 24 hours or just get rid of it (or keep updating it like it says) since right now it is misleading.

https://www.moneypot.com/proof-of-liabilities.txt shows Proof of 158,057,332.82 bits of liabilities at the top, and the current bankroll is ~130,000,000 bits so it seems it hasn't been updated for a few weeks.

^ I'll pass that along to the team.

To my recollection, it was affected by the maintenance we've been conducting in the past few days.  I don't believe it's been outdated for any longer than that, but I may be wrong.

We're continuously working on getting all the small things fixed up and are working towards updating the site to stages listed in the original post.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Sounds good. I think it is longer then a few days since right now the bankroll is 131,185,650 bits  and the proof of liabilities shows 158,057,332.82 bits and the bankroll hasn't dropped that much for the last week and a bit more. It might be before the big win on plinkopot bringing the profit to a negative.

I do know there were 14 Bitcoin in withdrawals shortly after we announced we were in maintenance mode.  That may or may not have accounted for the difference seen.  Nonetheless, we'll get it fixed up Smiley

Yeah, that would probably be why. Forgot that the proof of liabilities includes user balances, not just invested bitcoin.

I did had around 3000 satoshi on better bets from faucet betting , of which I realized lost some coins after a while when I didn't even bet , don't know why and how. Maybe that could be the reason , I was testing my casino as well.

it appears if you have deposits on multiple apps,  whatever app you are betting with, the outcome is applied to every app you have coin on.

K, so I did some testing and found that:

When you make a bet on a Moneypot app, the bet is made on all Moneypot apps where the bet can be made.

If you have 10 bits on app X and 12 bits on app Y, and you bet 10 bits on X (or Y) it gets through on both apps, if you win you get 20 bits and if you lose, you lose 20 bits.

If you bet 12 bits however, Moneypot cannot make the bet on X, so it will only play on all apps that have balance greater than 12 bits.

Edit: The bet isn't actually made on the app AFAIK (at least I can't find the bet ID) but the effect is the same.

Who loses:
A player will bet more than he intends to.

Who wins:
An investor : will earn more profit because of the rise in wagered amount.
Moneypot : will get more commission.
Apps : will get more commission Not sure since the bets are not shown. It could be just an adjustment of player balances.

Can the player exploit the bug to make it +EV?
No. (none found yet)

How to avoid:
Hold a balance in only ONE Moneypot app.

very good explanation.

Thanks Cheesy

I kinda hoped if I bet 1 BTC on one app and place 1 bit on 10 apps, I would get 11BTC if I win. Grin
Hope they will do something like that next time..

Moneypot should realize they need a better coder , hell even a coding team . With this one person team of cryptonite , they screwed up A LOT  since they took over . They need to wake up and say ' this coder is not gonna cut it'

I don't know there was a guy they said was the coder in slack chat , cryptonite70 or something like that. He simply won't cut it , there has been too many code related problems , first there was nothing going on for a month or two , then this week many things happened , I mean if moneypot team wants to get their money's worth from this venture , they need a whole lot better coder.

They did maintenance not too long ago and that might be the reason that few codes was messed up. It is not easy to find a good coder especially the one that you can trust . There has been many cases that coder put up few codes that will enable some backdoor and let the site got hacked. Im pretty sure they will fix this up as this is just an honest mistake of messing up few line of codes

For any app (maybe not betterbets) in moneypot there can be few coding mistakes and they will not make enough coins for a while etc etc. When talked about moneypot all itself then it can't happen. Too many app owners and gamblers rely on that.
