Why Kr moved to POS so quickly think changing made little unfair to say the least on odl road-map and plans. Whats the plan now then you moved to POS or in process of moving to?
Bittrex gave Krypton a deadline to either fix the 51% attack vector known to Ethereum-based chains or swap to a new KR. If we had not met that deadline, KR would have been delisted. The Ethereum-based 51% attack vector was not possible to fix in the time Krypton was given by Bittrex. Lacking Krypton's coming staff of top flight developers, no one could reasonably expect the volunteer Krypton project to fix in weeks what Ethereum had not in years. Krypton decided that it was more important to remain on Bittrex Exchange and protect the value of KR than to stay with the easily attacked Ethereum-based blockchain. |

This is reat news for KR, another exchange to buy and sell on. I also see more and more people starting to stake KR which is a good sign. I've currently earned 1.5 KR since I started staking yesterday. |

All old Proof-of-Work KR must be swapped for the new Proof-of-Stake KR.
If your KR is on Bittrex Exchange, Bittrex will swap it for you.
If your KR is on Yobit Exchange, standby for instructions.
If your KR is in a Krypton QT wallet, you must send it to Krypton to be swapped.

All KR swap requests that were submitted on Friday, 30-Sept-2016, have been processed. Some people forgot to ATTACH the "keystore" folder. These people have been notified by email that their swap request is incomplete. I cannot complete swap requests without keys. Swap requests submitted on Saturday, 1-Oct-2016, are being processed now. Well I attached the key from inside the keyfolder (wasn't allowed to attach the folder) on Saturday-- we will see, I just wish more effort was put into making the swap equal for all people and not for some of us later |

This new algo and stake phase are looking very interesting, so please tell me how to start staking, I have KR on Bittrex and I downloaded new KR wallet, what now, can you please explain me step by step what to do to start staking?
How much I will receive KR on staking phase, which is min and max time for staking and Can I spend KR while staking it??

To be honest I know a lot on deadlines and could of simply worked though it even to be unlisted. No doubt re added in the future happens a lot. No harm in of asking if to have extinction in time de list until fixed going POS so soon and very early stages in KR life is bad. Now only people can or have to buy big chunks i order to make a reasonable stake n be worth while. As an old vet in mining myself POS is bad so soon maybe in future but that just my view oh well. Guess will see in time how this grows. |

It's good to see more people staking KR as the network average weight is around 500k at any given time during the day and night. It does make it a little harder for the small investors but they can still earn rewards from staking, it just takes a little longer now as the network weight increases.

What's the best way to stake ? I sent 1131 KR to my wallet in amounts of 50 but have only been able to get 1.5 KR so far from staking for the last seven days with wallet left open 24/7

As I have said it is taking longer for us small investors who don't have a large amount of coins because there is more and more network weight now. I remember the first few days I was earning 2 KR coins per day and I only had the wallet open for 10 hours max but now I'm only earning 0.25 KR per day for the same amount of time. This is the case for all POS coins you need a large stake to earn a good amount of rewards from staking. |
