I do not have any real experience with setting up a network to be secure against a focused attack, or as a server so I'm not sure how to really factor the pros and cons of running a masternode at home vs renting a VPS monthly.
It's essentially typing in a handful of commands. A guide can be found on the BitSend forum.

What are the storage size needs for running a masternode?
Less than 1 GB.

What amount of bandwidth and network traffic would be needed?
I don't know the exact amount, but it is negligible.

I'm trying to figure out how expensive of a service would be needed if I rented it. Thanks! Smiley
A ~3$ VPS will do.

I still saw many inactive account for over 3months in this list https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21000833/Bitsend/Giveaway%202016/Giveaway.txt
why not just remove them from airdrop list? anyway I can help to find these inactive account well honestly I like if my shares become bigger with these inactive account removed lol
Help us by giving us a list of inactive accounts and we will remove them.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I don't know why i'm on your list.... But of course i'm not inactive as anyone can verify. Rather that this i'm also partecipating in Bsd project with translations.

Your purpose is right but probabily you shoud revise your criteria.

Hey, dev. I guess no one noticed that the Philippines translation and link was wrong all this time. Check out your OP. I will translate the correct one today immediately if that's ok with you.

I have rewritten the Airdrop thread. Starting with this post, there will be stricter requirements in order to combat alt accounts, farming, inactivity and similar. This will insure a fairer distribution of the rewards.

Important changes:
1) You need to be a Senior Member and the account needs to be at least 1 year old (up from 'Full Member' and '6 months' previously). This only applies for anyone applying after my post.
2) You need to join the Slack team as well.

If you find anyone in the Airdrop who hasn't been active for 3 months, please PM me.

Just PM me once you're done. You don't need to rush it.

Of course we do.

Bitcointalk forum. You don't need to post in this thread according to the current rules.

If you're experienced with mining, it may be worth to write/re-write some guides. We could probably send you a small bonus.

Can I specify the exchange wallet in airdrop company or I should to download the application and take out the name of wallet from there?
In an optimal world, you'd use your own wallet and would not sell it for BTC as soon as you receive it (as some do). However, there is no requirement for actually using addresses from a local wallet.
