Ahh that's no fair, Airdrop for Senior members only Sad

Nope. That is very much fair. Else, spammers will create 10-12 alt accounts each and drain all the coins. And the worst thing is that these people will immediately dump the coins in the exchanges, causing a drop in the exchange rates. The genuine users will suffer in that case.

It's called a centralized air drop, also puts an image to future decisions of the team. Grin

I say let the noobs create alt accounts and get paid for their work lol. That's decentralization.

An Airdrop, which is funded by the team can not be decentralized in any way whatsoever.

I say let the noobs create alt accounts and get paid for their work lol. That's decentralization.
That has literally nothing to do with decentralization, and is just an utterly flawed idea based on the lack of education. It would be advisable not to comment on matters beyond your level.

I tend to find it both funny and sad that people complain about free money.

just saw stipulation that we had to stay active on bitcointalk. This might make me mention what a rockin Bitsend Airdrop it is.
While others call their's an "airdrop" for their 5 or 25 tokens, let it serve as a reminder that Bitsend had (has) one of the best airdrops in the business and that this is what an airdrop is!
Bitsend, Bitcore BTX, GBYTE, these are airdrops! There have been a few others, Stellar is worth mention.
I think one reason Bitsend has been so successful is they had a distribution model that jump started circulation. This made it nice in trading and with an extreme rise in price.

Again, thanks for the awesome airdrop, seems we are about half way!

The ccminer.exe -a xevan part gave me tingling hopes... but I am still looking for a NVIDIA Xevan miner (free/open-source or at least under 0.05 BTC, though I don't have yet that kind of money to shed for a miner).

I would not encourage this... except "force-majeure" case(s). The potential for abuse is high (stolen/compromised BCT account might come to mind).

are there instructions for setting up masternode?

You can find some directions for setting up masternodes in a couple different ways here on the BitSend forums. --- https://bitsend.info/forums/index.php?board=2.0 --- You can also check out NodeShare's service which may be a good option if you don't have a static IP address etc... --- http://nodeshare.in/coins/bitsend/order/

The main webpage is undergoing a remodel. It should be back soon.

Luckily there's a great secondary page, http://www.mybitsend.com which is pointed out on the temporary splash screen right now.

Stay tuned!
