I really wish to create a masternode for bitsend, but I have less than 1k on hand now, must buy 24k from market later.

BTW, does the masternode started yet or still in beta? What is the masternode reward per block?

Mining profitability calculator? Not sure. There is a masternode one though.

Masternodes have been around for quite some time in this coin.

What is the masternode reward per block?
20 BSD.

for masternode rewards you can check here:

https://www.mybitsend.com/masternode

( someone posted that link once in this forum and I use it for quickly checking the numbers every now and then )

Lots of long term accumulation here.  Bound to pop at some point......
You should vote here. It seems that a fair number of forum users have seen the thread but have not made up their mind yet.

Well I can't vote. Not registered.

My opinion is a long that way:  The constant flat emission over up to 100 years is a unique mark of BitSend which belongs to BitSend to me.
I see a problem at the end of that time. So my ideal would be flat up to 90 years and then a  smooth down ramp over the last 10 years to avoid a shock effect close to the end of the emission.

I know that ppl think that by gradual reducing the emission the price will rise and while it certainly has effect I think that other factors are more important: To get the ppl to use a coin for buying products. Creating infrastructure for mass adaption.

The planned duration for the POW period is ~30 years (33 according to the first post here), and not 100 years.

I know that ppl think that by gradual reducing the emission the price will rise and while it certainly has effect I think that other factors are more important: To get the ppl to use a coin for buying products. Creating infrastructure for mass adaption.
That's not the reason behind that poll. Take a look above; extending the PoW period without increasing the total supply would be one option.

Ty

The current supply is 16,327,075 Bitsends + 25 Bitsend generated per block which happens every 3 minutes and that adds up to 170k bitsend per year. Smiley

Hey guys ! I have a few questions regarding the masternode setup.
First of all, where can I find the official setup procedure ?
Also if I don't have a fixed IP , vps is my best option ? Any recommendations?
Sorry if the info was already posted somewhere else :p
Thanks in advance !

There isn't one. Roadmaps are usually used for hyping projects that can't deliver what they promise.

How version bitsend used for masternode linux vps?
Use this version: https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitSend/releases/tag/BSD1271.

Thank you!
What dependencies are needed to start the daemon?
Code:
./bitsendd: error while loading shared libraries: libminiupnpc.so.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Code:
sudo apt-get install libminiupnpc.so.8

Take a look at this file, it should help you: https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitSend/blob/master/doc/build-masternode.md. I think if you add the Bitcoin PPA that the dependency gets fixed on its own, although I have done this quite some time ago and can't fully vouch for it.
