bittrex required a callback feature to be implemented before addition so the exchange could callback automatically, and as far as i know this was coded up and commited to github a couple days ago "activity callback feature"

hold those XRB tight' this is long term! 100m marketcap minimum, dont sell for a measly x10, this could change your life, its not often an investment oppurtunity like this pops up.

I think that a new exchange is the last thing we need, since it's almost tradable on 2 exchange.
The main question is that the nice next step should be release of a light wallet (desktop + mobile) and involve services to use it.

Until that point the situation will be almost the same, even if we get on Bitrex, even if we get on Poloniex.

Just a (personal) consideration about the market and the current price. I'm happy to see Mxrb on 1300sat, and I'll be more happy if it reach even more. But don't forget the price is driven mainly by tools and use cases, which are very limited for the moment.
Put effort only on make price bigger will make the price only a big bubble which can burst every moment, since now, except hype, I don't see any reason to be fine with this price.

Bigger exchanges have gained more trust within the crypto community. It's clear that the project is legit and that the codebase is valuable, but most people wouldn't even look at it without some businesses trusting you first, ex: exchanges. After exchange additions you will get news outlets and potential investors to look at you. It's just how it goes and it is needed for every healthy project.

Sadly BitGrail and Mercatox just aren't there yet, most people in the cryptospace won't trust them without a good track record. I bow to you guys as BitGrail looks and feels excellent between exchanges, but it's still pretty new and not load tested.

you get on a mainstream exchange and people will start paying more attention to your coin.

My understanding is that when people claim on the faucet, the developers get a cut  of the claims.

An increase in price would mean more funds for development in my opinion.

Also once you have people aware of your product, you will then be able to get more feedback on what kind of tools and use cases XRB can potentially be adapted for.

Also traders would love to have XRB on Bittrex because it will bring more trading volume  

Poloniex is fast turning into a disaster waiting to happen in my opinion, so XRB should stay away from Trolloniex.

@Will - I do see your point, utility of the coin is the most important but as traumschiff says, most people won't trust Merca or Bitgrail so that means a lot of people out there won't get to experience the awesomeness that is RaiBlocks until it gets on Bittrex.

If we were already on Bittrex and people were crying about getting on Polo I'd tell them to pipe down as Polo is looking more and more shady.

All we need is Bittrex and then nobody can complain about not being on enough exchanges ever again!

Only a consideration that does not want to be offensive or intimidating, and not provocative. I note, on average, that the donation rate is around 2%. By calculating that once and once, the donation account is in the top 60, it's as if the donations represented just under 1%.
In essence, it's as if just under 10% of all claims come from claims for donations. I reiterate that donation is not mandatory but certainly this step is not very encouraging.

I always claim with "help on", I'm at 99.75%  and only once my addy was rewarded, funy thing it was on first day of my claiming. Nothing since then. Was just wondering is this option still active, what are the chances for additional drop? How it would look like now, with 3.5K threshold? Is it paid the moment account is in top 60 or earlier?
Majority of pools where claiming without "help on" maybe this is still a thing?
There was that time when "help" was turned on by default, maybe it is a good idea to go back to this?

As stated above I always use "help devs". I was 99.75% in favour.
Few days later I'm 99.50% Thanksback is not working. All(?) claims get ignored?

If you see pending INSIDE wallet, just unlock it. May be also Advanced --> Search for receivables if unlock not enough

If you see in explorer in cannot be send back.
If you are talking about several hours missing blocks from faucet, they will be send by distribution node soon
