If you are a true-blooded hodler, then do not worry about Ripple at all. The price will be huge soon and you will be happy with your profit. I am also a hodler but I have just bought my XRP very recently. I don't care much about the little ups and downs on the chart. I am intending to hodl them for a longer while.

I have just created an order on Kraken to sell @ 10 EUR! Common guys, lets make the market!
Actually 1$ will be huge for xrp...but in this year maybe we see 0,40$ cents. Wink

If you bought recently then sure, you are not in trouble yet.
There are some ppl who bought at 25k satoshis. They still believe...
But, dollar-wise, I think they won't lose their money as well.

Hi Everyone,

New to the world of Digital Currency as mainly invest in Solid Bullion Silver/Gold etc.  Having done some research over the last one week XRP Ripple seems a promising to me.

Realistically I have bought over 1500 XRP coins and looking to purchase another maybe £1000-£2000 worth in next 7-10 days.  What do you think is the realistic value this can achieve by say start of 2018 and is it worth buying more.  (Sorry this Crypto Market is confusing as some say it's rubbish and other's say it's amazing)

We are looking at this opportunity as a long term investment.

Thanks

If its a long term investment, be prepared for long term research.
short term, you should still learn the basics.
Dont expect to put in $$ and expect huge profits within a yr, unless you put in the time to learn and understand what you are buying.
You must learn crypto fundamentals.
Crypto is an extremly volatile market.
Do not put in anything you cant afford to lose.
Do not borrow,lend,margin.
XRP is one of the most promising cryptos defo and will be worth alot more as time passes.
People make huge amounts of profits regularly, but others lose just as much.
Gd luck

Hi Mrpumeritis,

Thanks for your valuable feedback,  Indeed I am researching and spending approx 2-3 hours looking at forums and finding more about the craze of Crypto Currency.  Only thing what I am worried is it a BUBBLE which can explode however to be honest plenty of other Bubbles as well such as the Debt & Housing Bubble as well.

While I am aware it's very volatile with movements of 20%+ a day more than FX Markets but there is a chance now rather to miss the party or be late and then regret things.  I am only looking at solid long term and do think this currency has potential.

Anyway hope to learn more from this group.

Thanks

Has anyone tried to withdraw xrp from polo recently?  Just bought another bag and withdrawal has been pending for several hours. Last time a few weeks ago it only took 20min so I wanted to check with you guys.
Both lbry and btc  moved in seconds. Only ripple to go, then me and polo shall never do biz again.

Give it 48-72 hours, after that open Support Ticket. Never use Polo, it is very attractive on margin and loan, but it so shadow the same time.

I withdrew all XRP two days ago when I moved everything away from Polo.  I had no problems at all..
Please inform us of your current situation.

I don't have the massive faith in Ripple which many other people do. Interesting tech. Not so hot on banks and how centralized it is. I just bought some. Will hold long term and see what happens.

fair enough m8...but have you tried sending XRP funds?...wow, nothing, no payment option on the planet comes near it in terms of speed and cost.

You can send $hundreds of thousands , if you want , in seconds for almost..FREE! , and this is now , not some fake promised roadmap in 2yrs lol.
