Well... tonight Teeka Tiwari called Ripple as "next big thing in cryptocurrencies" on his webinar before 250,000 listeners (yes it is quarter of a million!)
He also mentioned that already 100+ banks and financial organizations are adopting it... and major news to expect before the end of the year.

Teeka Tiwari and his Palm Beach Research group are the very same spammers I mentioned in a few posts earlier. Repeat, spammers, not scammers. I think they have a great strategy that works in traditional marketing followed by extreme hype and roping in a lot of names familiar in cryptospace. By the way, Teeka only had a quarter million people listening in because he promised a huge Bitcoin giveaway last night to anyone who listened in.

Check the facebook comments, hundreds of spammers saying "thank you for Bitcoin" etc etc. You really think so many people listened because they wanted to hear what he said?

I have my faith with XRP but was also thinking of STR since the almost have same technology, how much chance do you think STR will also be used by banks in the coming years? I'd like to know if there is also something to expect to them.

All depends it is will also get reserve currency status ... if this happens, then it will moon.

Possible is that:
BTC --> world reserve currency/ store of value (like gold)
ETH --> world reserve currency for WEB 3.0/ companies/ nations/ etc
XRP --> world reserve currency for nations, banks, governments

No, it does not "moon" - I mean what you are talking about takes a lot of time. So until (or better "if") we see something like this scenario it will be a veeeeery long time with a lot of smaaaaal successes and spikes in price.

Ripple and XLM will be going into the new year with some of the strongest institutional support. This is because their primary purpose is to increase the efficiency of the current financial system. Whereas most other Cryptos have a more combative or revolutionary relationship with banks, governments and the powers that be.

In my opinion Ripple has no place to crypto world, a centralized coin which is not minable is a bad thing.

It looks like some Big banks in Asia could declare they will start using Ripple. Some people are saying that on Telegram. Is there any news related to that? Is that the reason why palm Beach recommended? I think something like that could put Ripple in the top 3. I personally do not like Ripple so much because they hold so many coins. But I think I could start invest, BTC will not pass 8k. At leats I will profit from the pump.

In my opinion Ripple has no place to crypto world, a centralized coin which is not minable is a bad thing.

1) XRP is not centralized.  Anybody can own it, anybody can download and run a validator.  XRP Ledger would exist if Ripple (the company) went away. 
2) If you're so convinced about POW, you're about to be "against Ethereum" then, since that team is on its way to changing to a POS instead of POW

As time passes more people realize that time of XRP being 0.005 - 0.003 passed for good. Two months ago XRP was around 0.16c, now it  around 0.20c, after lock up will be around 0.25c or even 0.35c.

The first release of 1B from escrow can bring price a bit down, as fud like "Ripple dumping XRP will spread".

Considering that in 2018 we going to have BTC around 10k, XRP being 1 USD is just matter of time.

SBI VC Exchange is going to be a big game changer.

long time here waiting for the big bump.. not that not happens before but it was all concentrated in a small timeframe so i think we have room to do another one before year end, that would be great since i still have a small bag of xrp

They said they would put a couple billion ripples in escrow in Q4 of this year, that itself would give a big boost to the price due to the fact that less ripples would be in circulation. However the communication of ripple is not what you call perfect.... So i still hope they are doing what they promised.

I've been waiting  for the price increase of XRP,  i think i did the right decision for not putting all of my investment here because the price really down for now.
