Yeah you are right, the altcoin market has been kept artificially low. It's not been able to grow naturally, pretty sure they'll start pinging back soon like a coiled spring! |

Yeah you are right, the altcoin market has been kept artificially low. It's not been able to grow naturally, pretty sure they'll start pinging back soon like a coiled spring! its always been that way for all alts. even the most valuable are being sold for btc. XRP isn't much affected like dropping down to -%50 hasn't happen in just a day yet. but AMEX joining the network will be a huge plus for this project. the rest will soon follow and to the moon XRP. |

The reported pairing with American Express gained the ripple some double digit rise on its price before it settled below the peak price. Ripple might continue to gain some advances in the coming days because of the american express partnership but I doubt if the altcoin can sustain its upward momentum in the long term.

It went up from 6/10's of a cent to 20 cents on far less news (a pump like that again would bring us to 14 dollars if somebody spends the same exact amount in 24 hours as they did in may, are you saying nobody will ever spend that again and when they do 14 dollars). It was still even being debated at .40 pump whether XRP would even be used at all. Now we have XRP being used by Cuallix and in the pipeline for Amex once they get used to Ripple. It even pumped to .30 before the Cuallix deal just from a tweet. And was at .28 today already once. Also the supply deflates, name any other currency that does that. XRP should be no less than .50 by now and its amazing its still this cheap. It won't last for long. I believe somebody is loading up right now and it sure ain't .20 anymore, holding close .23 for awhile now. Don't miss out on something that pumps over far less news than this. Only thing that slowed XRP down today was Bitcoin went up the same amount against the dollar at the same time, had that not happen and once we recover from that, XRP goes crazy from the looks of things. |

If you just kept your btc and buy XRP today with it, you could have more XRP than how much you currently have is that what you mean? You can't blame it to the ripples nor to any altcoin you trust during that time. Altcoins have its own phase who knows XRP could go to mars next year. Believers expect the rise of XRP anytime. Hold on to it. |

Last year Eth was .004BTC when Bitcoin was 800 bucks or less. By your logic Eth should have never risen above .004, XRP should still bee 600 sats instead of 2800, XMR should still be worth more than Eth at around .007-.009, followin me? You don't lose unless you sell. |

And it is hard to make future profits without learning. You want to make profit? So you should learn. I bought XRP for 0.006$ in march this year. Made x36 until now. If I would have bought BTC at the same time, I would have made x6 until now and lost 80% of the profit I got with XRP. So please think twice before investing. Read charts and don't fall for hypes  |

Read charts and don't fall for hypes You are right man, My post wasnt without irony =). But I found out that i personally am indeed very very bad trying to predict Altcoin rises. So I myself feel safer hodling. However, I decided to keep 10% of my portfolio open for short term trading and Alts - as I want to learn! Do you have any current recommendations on where to look or what altcoin might be worth additional research? |

One thing people do not realize, is that XRP ~0.05c up since July price after correction. Every pump give 0.02c of stability. So, in overall we slowly go up, it can be seen in graphs.

We are actually at 22.5 cents when we've been hovering at 19-20 and less for weeks. It hit 28 and consolidated, pretty standard stuff. There was a pump then the big players sold off the news to accumulate more before the next rise which will come from people no longer sellin off the initial news. |
