the question is what happens if WAVE hits the markets at 50% of the ICO price.
Then Yuri Gagarin comes out and kills you:)

there was a rumor that developers gonna place a buying wall at the very start of trading waves. How big'll be this wall? And how long will it exist (one day? one week? month?) If they will see that there is not enough buying power, will they dismiss it?
Was the rumour by any chance started by you? Stop spreading bullshit. If you have don't have the balls to buy into the ICO don't buy it. Otherwise grow up and don't expect the world to catch you if you screw up.

Exactly. As I watch my proportion of waves shrink every day, I imagine more and more fomo investors climbing on board the gravy train. This ICO is lasting too long. How impatient will the investors be when trading finally starts? Then people will realize: waves is vaporware and won't be mass marketable for years.

Finally made it to the signature campaign. Very nice and very glad I made it. I just registered. I hope to still get a few stakes. Go Waves. I can see you were listed but not yet accepted still as the status is left blank. how soon will they update the spreadsheet? I was about to join too but seeing the status of new campaign joiners, they weren't yet accepted. have they stopped accepting?

I've been following this as well. Unfortunately, they are not updating it real time like they are with the Dao project. It still shows Waves at #43 though given what has been raised to this point Waves should now be at #31. Again, this is an impressive metric as it reflects ALL crowdfunding projects from all time, not just crypto related ones. I hope the list gets updated by the end of the ico to reflect Waves' true standing. We will undoubtedly crack the top 30 with no problem. Here's one with active, upcoming & successful crypto-related crowdsales https://cyber.fund/radarBased on BTC raised, WAVES is at #7 1. TheDAO : 97,182.2 Ƀ and counting 2. Ethereum : 31,531 Ƀ 3. Augur : 22,036 Ƀ 4. Lisk : 15,128 Ƀ 5. DigixDAO : 13,290 Ƀ 6. Safe Network : 12,200 Ƀ 7. Waves : 8272 Ƀ and counting The DAO funds raised is misleading. Because you can pull your ETH out of the smart contract after launch. So there is virtually no risk of losing the ETH you invested With the others listed there was no way to pull your BTC out of the fund after you sent it If the DAO is included in these types of lists at all, then it should have an asterisk at the very least I've invested few ETH on DAO lately but yeah I wanna clear that up, where did you get the info where we can pull our ETH out of the smart contract after launch? As far as I know we just vote either yes or no for a project and the ETH will still remain as DAO token as bought.

Thanks for the update, another good day for the waves, I am very much tempted now to put another investment and even my life savings. This is the only chance for me to have a comfortable life.

Quote from the DAO page https://daohub.org/creation.htmlunder "Special Characteristics of the DAO tokens" "At any time, the DAO Token Holder may retrieve their proportional amount of ETH not already committed to a Proposal." "The last two points relate to the DAO Token Holder using the Ethereum Wallet to 'burn' their DAO tokens while retrieving their portion of unspent ETH as part of a process called 'a split.’ This offers both security and a deflationary model."

Hmm OK, but what is to prevent the Waves funds from depleting, should everyone and their dog get cold feet and want to sell/withdraw the instant wave tokens are available on an exchange? We all remember the clusterfuck Paycoin that went out with a 20$ floor, but that lasted only a short while while everyone threw their coins at it.
