what are the consequences of not swapping NXT based assets over to waves? What is the significance of 1st May too? I'm a bit confused as to what I need to do with my coinomat & coinomat1 assets

You can swap assets that you had before the May, 1.

Final day to make swaps is May, 15.

Thanks, but I still don't understand why there is a deadline of May 15th for the swap. If I don't swap now it sounds like the assets MUST be migrated to WAVES later on anyway, so why have an 'optional' swap now? It sounds like more work for WAVES team. Are dividends still being paid on NXT & WAVES as before, and if so, in what token? Please explain things as it's still very unclear what the implications are for the 15 May deadline. When will the non-voluntary swap happen? If the time period between May 15 and the migration is small it probably doesn't matter, but if it's long and dividends are paid in different tokens the implications could be huge.

I honestly don't feel good about this swap

It is just additional opportunity during the ICO, you can swap coinomat assets for Waves if you bought/had them before the 1st May. Final date to make it happen is 15th.
Assets will continue next the same like before just with lower supply. When Waves platform is operational those assets will migrate to it. Dividends from assets on the Waves blockchain won`t be paid in NXT for sure. You can stay with your assets on NXT blockchain also, your decision.

OK, so the swap now (i.e before May 15th) would convert those assets (e.g. coinomat1 asset on NXT AE) into WAVES (the token being sold in the ico), NOT equivalent assets on the WAVES platform? I want to keep all my coinomat assets, so a swap now would convert them into WAVES, right, and that's not what I want, So I wait now, and later my NXT.coinomat1 asset will be converted 1:1 into WAVES.coinomat1, right?

Exactly. So you just hold your assets like before and enjoy bigger dividends with lower supply already and next you will be able to migrate with them to the Waves platform.

It works like this 85 million WAVES will be distributed to those that buy in with BTC. As this is limited supply of 85m each investment increase value of each WAVE thus decresing number of WAVE tokens in your wallet.

It works like this 85 million WAVES will be distributed to those that buy in with BTC. As this is limited supply of 85m each investment increase value of each WAVE thus decresing number of WAVE tokens in your wallet.

Yes, once the funding ends, the assets are distributed to all who participated. Your balance is what gets paid to you.

i invested a total of 0.024 (small amount) in the first day bonus my balance of waves was 400+ waves unbelievable now my balance decrease to 240 waves that the half of  the first amount received .
I hope at the end of the ico my waves remains above 200 waves.

I'm in favour of a buy wall however I think it should be at 20% below the end price.

20% being the bonus received by day 1 investors.

Why? The devs don't owe you anything, imo there shouldn't be a buy wall at all.

I don't like using the word 'owe' as it's quite harsh and technical. Whilst they don't 'owe' us anything technically (as the crowdfunding is pegged as a donation for legal reasons), it's quite clear that the devs are acting in good faith to create a positive return on investment. Any normal investment would consider the consensus of it's investors in making key decisions so yes they do informally 'owe' us something.

If they put a buy wall at the ico price then there is a high chance the price stays low around ico price which is extremely undervalued anyway.

They should instead use the funds to bring in some good news affecting the price positively.

What economic theory is that based off? Seems like wild speculation to me.

I'm not saying they shouldn't use the majority of the funds for development, just set aside say 10-20% for a buy wall under ICO price. Not only will this help bolster the price but also add stability, liquidity and credibility. It also means short sellers will be selling their WAVES back to the organisation for much less and we (the WAVES project) gain more.
