not intend to spam in case someone hasn't known yet instead of waiting for Waves to be on Poloniex, we should make it happen submit a form request here https://poloniex.com/coinRequestlol do you really think poloniex dont want to add this coin? You could send 100 million request and the coin wont be on polo. EVERY EXCHANGE WANT TO ADD WAVES, BUT THEY CANT, because they dont have the full code and waves is the first coin in the programming language ScorexFramework, they dont even know how to add this coin to their exchanges. The first exchange for waves will be bittrex in a few days. I dont know why the desicion fall on bittrex, but i think they paid big money to be the first. |

when will be launching on exchange for sure?
20 or 25th of june?
20th June on Bittrex  No Chance!!! I am calling it now! 25th at the soonest. Looking at the past history of this coin, more delays expected!!!! There is more chance me waking up to find an extra 5" swinging between my legs than Waves going to exchanges on the 20th. a I still don't know why they are bothering with a low liquidity exchange as opposed to Polo first. Lisk raised half the amount of money and they were able to secure that exchange ahead of time with an NDA. Yes one of the few things they got right on launch.  We have Bittrex. I don't care if it's late, I want them to make sure it's secure and communicate the progress with investors. This is the part mxxxx seems to miss in his post. Rather than pointing a finger at profit driven traders, he can learn more about transparency. Good luck Waves team. I believe in the project even if I'm not a big fan off some of your recent actions. My plan is to enable exchanges one by one. I don't understand why we should rush it and be at all exchanges at once. Rush slowly. And why was Bittrex chosen over Poloniex for launch? Its called strategy... If you want to sell your coins and leave the project, open on polo. If you want to buy more coons before you do a release you open on bittrex. That doesn't make any sense at all? WAVE and BTC are going to flow into whichever exchange lists them first. The only real variable that matters is the volume the exchange can handle. I'm guessing they are rolling out with Bittrex first either because they are easier to work with or offering some sort of payment to give them the opening WAVE exchange opportunity. The first exchange to allow users to exchange waves will see a huge surge in volume, which translates into more money for said exchange. As a larger trader, I'm probably the minority so I just concede. I personally would never trust any significant amount of Bitcoin on these lower tier exchanges. 20 million raised and we welcome this masterpiece on #17. I give, I will wait for Polo. That's a valid point. I'm trading in relatively small amounts that I feel are safe to take in and out and also that I can afford to lose. I suppose that changes as an individual's volume climbs. Do you think there are more whales on either side (buying/selling) that could potentially lead to a manipulated launch by starting on bittrex, or do you think it will just result in less noise and lower volume? |

Dont bother unless you want to be a bag holder, hopefully all the money that people are taking out of failed coins they will use to buy a decent coin startup like waves. It seems to be the only one worth buying in the coming days. This guy's knows what's good. I feel the same too waves only current project with top 3 potential. |

I'm dumbfounded by some of the choices from what's stated above to integrating with the #17 volume based exchange to highlight the project. Nothing we can do, they have the investment, it's there's to do as they see fit. I want them to do well, thats why I get frustrated with the string of poor choices.
I'd be surprised if many people would trust a low performing exchange >50+ BTC. Maybe their target is a different market, then Bittrex makes sense. It seems like they think everyone wants it on Polo to dump, that's why out of touch with bigger traders. I want my money on an exchange I trust, once that happens, I'm not at the whim of this dev team.
I guess you should stop whining about why Bittrex and not Poloniex. There are also few statements of yours which are quite debatable to say the least. Just two of them that seem the most pretentious: 1) Bittrex #17 volume-based exchange? Can I get a link to the full ranking, first? What kind of exchanges we are talking about in here (altcoin-bitcoin exchanges, bitcoin-fiat)? Helper question: what is yobit's rank? 2) Bittrex is a low performing exchange >50+ BTC? Well, at the times where altcoins were trading in huge volumes they got one of the biggest shares of it, with several coins exceeding 100BTC of daily volume. these days are long gone and only few altcoins at all can get to 100BTC+ of volume for a longer time period. |

Maybe this is because they want to avoid a big dump : many people are avoiding Bittrex, thus, the dump will be smaller. |

No need to be so cheesy.It's only a hiccup for DAO and more to come-exactly same as on the dawn of the Internet or Bitcoin . DAO is a baby but it has mentally and spiritually strong community and powerful idea not to mention still has multimillion units of self funding pot what could be used to incentivise the forces to solve this reality check event what only will make it stronger...until the next challenge and so on. Waves could take a lesson and recheck It's level of security-no cryptos are prone to attack .But for bounty to be big enough Waves need to grow first. Will they? Developers have enough experience and funding to make it happen. |
