You going to cry because you couldn't dump for 2x profit on the first day? Some traders are hilarious! Have some patience, jeez.

What exactly is a wave coin? Is it like a stock? will it be used in a store later? What do you do with it? I am kinda confused as to how it holds value?
Is it part ownership in a company and the price is dependent on what people are willing to buy and sell it for? For instance bitcoin can be used to get money on a poker site, its like money. What is a wave token and why is it worth something? What will it be used for in the the future?
Clearly, I am new to crypto.
Any help appreciated thanks.

If you really are interested read the first page of this thread. Do some research about how cryptocurrency works. Waves is one of many tokens circulating right now, and all have very similar ideas. The amount of money invested in this token is pretty high though. So the idea seems to be great, according to all the investors. The future will tell.

We recognise the importance of the token being traded on the open markets — both to gauge interest in the project and to allow a greater number of early investors to become a part of the Waves ecosystem. However, we will always need to find a balance between development speed and network security. We cannot risk people’s money to meet the demand from solely profit-driven traders who want to sell their tokens as soon as they can.

Bitcoin is a commodity, ETH is the Oil and Gas industry and Waves is like the new Nasdaq.

I was thinking the same abou the DAO lol.
From that point of view Waves jus had a  huge free lesson-what is a big advantage in a road to success .

I feel that even though Bittrex btc volume seems high, its small compared to ICO size.  Much of waves are still seating on the sidelines and may start another round of dumping if weak demand continues.  I expect no better even at poloniex.

However long term prospect still seems rosy for waves.  Well I guess that depends on dev team.

While bittrex dumps waves, yobit is buying... I wonder why officially restrict the trades to a single exchange: maybe it makes it easier to dump premines,,, who knows Roll Eyes
