doubt it will fall much, waves assets have been running stable on the testnet, and my guess is that they will be released in tandum with Full Node..  actually I bet the full node release delay has more to do with allowing gateway providers to be up and running then anything else, testnet has been running production level stable for a while now.

well... either way and based on the fact that when ever I open this thread everyone is concerned with nodes and only nodes, the price will inevitably go up further at some point. There's no point in complaining... just ride the wave or whateva. The node release is only the beginning anyway.  

clearly all the work thats being done now and the way everything has been/is going, is strategic from the waves team.

It is quite clear that the full nodes will be released soon. That is no insiders buying, it is just people who can read past the FUD and realize that the dev team will devliver.

Don't get stuck on the FUD, there were plenty buying opportunities below ICO price and it looks like those days are fully over now.

Can somebody ELI5 how other cryptos use the waves chain then?

I was sooo tempted to load up more. I just kept remembering being here before several times regarding nodes. Although this was a pretty decent  pump. I almost went FOMO and did a secondary load up.
