btw thank you saint Stephen for keeping this thread so active while everyone was in slack. looks like its time to revitalize this thread with discussion and information as the platform finalises the last pieces of the puzzle and things begin to ramp up.
for better or worse its time to discuss the possibilities.
oh yea. like Cassius showing up here weeks ago telling me to shut up because "big announcements" were coming. seriously, if you guys are organizing a revolution, it's inside a bubble. better up your game.

There are many answers to many questions in that wall of text.
The question you just asked is singular.
What financial institution/gateway will partner with waves?
The answer has been supplied by Sasha to that question a few times.
I know because I have asked the same question a few times.
Sasha always answered. I won't release that information until it is already in place.
From that answer there you can assume one of two things. Either 1: for legal or ethical reasons Sasha is not divulging the payment providers identity.
Or 2: there is no such provider.
I for one trust that the gateway partnership is in place though it may not be as grandiose as some people imagine.
But I'm sure the range of opinion on this mystery is as varied as the amount of different partnerships that a gateway could take the form of.
Why is Sasha hiding behind unpaid people like you? Simple answer: there are no fiat gateways. No one trusts what Waves is doing - or perhaps Sasha himself. No major financial institution is committing. But will Sasha own up to this truth? Does not seem like it. Instead he (and you) are spreading unicorn dust. You are right: Coinomat is not a grandiose solution. It is Sashas old, failed project. He could have made that a fiat gateway without taking 30000 btc from investors. But no. That would not allowed all these fancy insider Ponzi spinoffs you guys are now running. Remember BioViva? the first major crowdfund? what had followed since then? zip, zilch, zero. Just insider ponzis like Incent. And all the while zero self critique from the Waves team. Sasha keeps tweeting whatever the fuck he wants. Guy keeps writing masturbatory future of blockchain articles on Medium. Karl Karlson does his gestapo thing in Slack. Twiggy Smile collects his paycheck while you attempt to make up for months of his incompetence. And those fiat gateways are nowhere to be found. I don't see anyone hiding. The waves team has a public address, and Sasha does live interviews every week... I am here to answer questions that have already been answered or to honestly say when there has been no answer, and am doing it in response to your earlier comments about lack of information on bitcointalk... feel free to donate me some WCT in thanks so that I can get some payment for being here and discussing slack responses to you😘

You guys were only to happy to milk the shit out of this forum during the ICO. Remember those days? Now you cannot be bothered.
Oh a common theme in ALL ICOs. "Best foot foward during ICO"

Or was gateway provider the only one. You do understand that a gateway provider is a simple task right? even coinomat has one. Major institution and a gateway provider are not exactly the same thing, nor do they have to be... any payment provider that transfers fiat around the world can be one as long as it has KYC built in. the partnership just requires that the DEX is operational. maybe your question should be Where is the DEX? is it vapor? to which the simple reply would be its being tested and is coded, being bug tested and refined.

100 million sold at .00036 btc but at 16 cents us... 8 million held for team and bonuses, 0 inflation. 6 million bought back at the start of trading by the waves team. Atm 16 millions in Bittrex. 14 million approx held by dev team. 70 million held in personal wallets.

Don't try to inflame the case of a major Institute, Sasha never promised one, he said a gateway provider. You wouldn't want to accidently shill for waves😂

Hi! I can tell something that I know. ICO price was about 0,00036 BTC , but when you consider first day bonus which was 50% , it mean that price for early investors was 0,00018 BTC. How tokens was distributed you can chek in old blog posts from waves reddit or wavestalk.

BTW, bankcoin global said they will have a peso/ usd gateway open in a couple months. And Incent's rob Wilson said he is working on an AUD gateway...
I'll assume that the waves team will probably finance or have ties to the Russian gateway.
And new exchange tidex is working on a usd gateway..
So there are a few gateway commitments already established..
We will have to wait and see with the EUR gateway.
As for coinomat, it is bitcoin compliant and ready to go with usd transfer already available... also it has the liquidity if the waves wealth behind it. Don't count it out.

Oh, wow, gateways are not a "simple task", that's why there aren't any. Maybe best not to make that a major part of your ICO promise if that's your attitude? Thanks for the ELI5 on KYC. Never knew any of that stuff. Let me type /s before you start typing .... As for DEX, it is so delayed, and has lost so much first mover advantage that even when it is "released" (June?) it will be an also ran. Not to mention that Waves team has shown ZERO of the very substantial management / PR / organizational skills necessary to push it to the broad adaptation such an exchange would require to be viable. So yea. Vapor.

First off gateways are only easy once a quick easy dex/asset exchange are in place.. what good would a fiat gateway be if you cant use it to buy assets. asset exchange/creation is finished and way easier to use than any other before it, and Dex has already been released to testnet and is showing incredible promise. Peter black has been testing it against polo's peak traffic times matching against polo's orders and it hasn't been breaking a sweat. Also waves has one thing no other dex has had before... FUNDING.
I see your a glass half empty kind of guy, so I'll keep responding to you with a glass half full answer.
Refer to my previous posts about different gateways in the works.

No, sorry. Wish there was. Sorry if anything I wrote was interpreted as an insult. Just trying to bring some of what is being discussed in slack to bitcointalk as asked earlier.

Thanks for the great information. Once Dex and Gateway is available, everyone can start doing business on WavesPlatform already. And also I really love their next plan regarding scalability and new approaches to smartcontract. But well... i also don't think all of it is going to happen overnight, it will still take months which is why WCT is here to incentive long term loyalist.
