That guy playing with a Bot with 4/5 btc, on 2 sell orders now for around 10000 waves each one. what are you thinking, bittrex is not poloniex, set your bot for only 2 btc and thats a lot for bittrex.
Your Bot are pushing the price down, and i dont want to buy more  Grin

Edit: Now that bot dump at 19500 buy orders, and now are buying at 18860 and 18450, fuck you guy with that stupid bot.
(i knew is a bot because when i place a buy or sell order, 1 second later the bot place his order first)

Dont feed the bots,  hold your Waves, i hope all of you be regret some day DUmpers

Bots are a real pissed off that's for sure...

That being said, they are doing a great job of keeping the price stable relative to the usd.
I believe these bots will keep going on this path until organic pressure in the form of TPS on the platform begins  to outpace the relative gains they are making in accumulation through MM on the exchanges. Either that orthe price of bitcoin stabilizes or begins to turn bear so that there ability to accumulate will force them to constantly change their spread upwards.
Once the pressure turns I believe you will see the bots either quickly disappear, or go the way of the Willy.

We have 2 bots fighting since the start, one trading 1 btc and other trading .3 btc, and other non agressive bots

But perhaps you are right, the new bot seems trading based on usd price if btc goes up a little the bot dump, normal bots never dump over the buy orders.

Well lets see, really is very sad seeing Waves at this price, i really never expect this, i hold when the price was 55k damn even bought 6 btc at that price. And again at 50,40,30,25,20 but now 19k, really?

Yeah, these are not your standard pump bots...  they seem to be playing an entirely different game then what I have seen in the past.
Could even be that it is someone building a position to add liquidity to the DEX once it is ready, but that would mean it is the waves team itself or someone associated with the waves team..

... build exchange, create matcher, build btc reserve, lower price of main asset, release dex, then bam add BTC to the waves buy side....
gain user base, rule the world.....

Not a bad strategy if this was a chess game..

That being said,
I am at a bit of a loss as to the reasoning behind the bots...  it does seem that whoever it is has an inexhaustible amount of waves.

If your not actively using the technology behind your crypto investment,

IT IS A SCAM!!!!

Just to clarify, i dont have any bot trading, when i say "we" i refer to all of us traders on bittrex, im old school, trading myself 16/18 hours at day  Cool

Now that you mention that, big sell orders of Waves are spread between all the exchanges, normally only Bittrex had that amount of Waves on sell side, and now Tidex and Liqui.io seems linked for that bot.

Yes, very strange, lets hope is for a good reason.

I remember the last time we dropped to these levels, and the time after then when it went back up to higher levels! I wonder what is going to happen this time...

Bitcoin rise = alts down, and Bitcoin is currently heading for an ATL so expect alts to be dumped.

Sell now and buy back at .00012x  when BTC hits 75 on the daily RSI.

Mobile app is gonna salvage the price? With no user base, no partners, and barely any volume on the one exchange? Right.

As for the bot, let's see .... who has a lot of waves .... hmmmm

You must be profiting from Waves in some way if you are still here after all this time?

Or maybe a vendetta?

Price will recover once bitcoin finishes doing whatever its doing. Waves has yet to moon so either take your chances and sell now to ride out bitcoin or hold onto your waves and see what happens. Waves time in the limelight will come yet. Im not concerned about the current price fluctuations, its bout to happen during a bitcoin bull run.

+1

Accurate! The way I see it now is like buying into Ethereum, Monero or Dash before they had their spikes in value. Although with Bitcoin potentially going to a new ATH, who knows what will happen?

I see the potential for Waves to be that of those alts though.

With or without BTC up. We rarely saw ICO prices. So, even if btc goes down. You won't see Waves at ico price.

Hard times to be an altcoin investor and yes an even harder time to be an Waves investor.

But on the bright side the roadmap is executed properly. There are updates (waves weekly). And If I am not wrong there is the DEX companing in 1+ month
Reason enough, at least for me to hold my waves.

I would advice the management though to focus on their core business. WCT is a fun gadget, nothing more. Launching these gadget can only be done so long, before investors get angry or dissapointed or both...

luckily with BTC rising the $ value of waves is somehow slowly rising too so even if the price keeps falling I still can get back my $ value I invested (I specifically bought BTC only to buy waves) at ICO.

Still, the price is worryingly low. Development is going well so I am really hoping waes team will put many of those BTC they got into marketing soon!

I know Waves team will still be astonished at the success of their ICO, 33ksat for what?

Though the team show more depth and know how than Lisk team another over capitalized project. I can see the price going the way of Lisk token. I don't thing this technology is attractive enough to investors.
