there is any news about the smart contracts introduction on waves platform ? I write many "intention" but don't see any news about it.
The current platform is usefull but needs an increase in quality.

Mobilego and Primalbase were successful ICOs that used Waves. Mobilego raised $53 million and Primalbase raised $7.6 million. There are other ICOs too, I only know about those two.

But I have heard that it do not have any crowdfunding tools with them. One of my friend told me that you will only create the token and then you will need to send that tokens manually to people. Is it good to invest in ICOs like that? Should we have to trust that platform?

I think the ICO price was 36k sat. Of course everyone in this thread is going to tell you that it is a solid investment . I have said it before, but i think waves is one of the safest investments with the most potential roi at the moment.
1. They have a lot of funding, i think they have more than 20k btc left, which would also give them 20k bch. This means that they wont take money from development cost for marketing. So almost 75m usd  .
2. They have tied powerful connections and partnerships in Russia.
3. They already have a few projects using their platform.
4. The platform is just getting better and better each month.
5. It is still very undervalued so it is a great time to get in.

I actually have 50% of my crypto porfolio invested in waves. I invest monthly from my regular sallery in this project, i hope i will be able to accumulate for 2-3 months more before it takes off, i only had a small sum to invest when this was project was under 1$ . But i think it can at least reach 100 usd within 2-3 years.

I think the next big thing for this project will be releasing v1 of their decentralised exchange. Then they will for sure put a lot of money into marketing and then it could really be heading to the moon.

Sure why not? Incent has been doing well, listed on a few exchanges. Mobilego is just starting to get some attention. Zrcoin, very original, raised its funds. Darcus/mercury, on bittrex now. Encryptotel. Not any ico can be successful, you need good advertizing.

So it could take up to 82 years to reach $100 just kidding Waves is growing very solid and current progress is going into right direction. I think next year price will be around $40 with current trend and rate of adoption.
