You are right! Waves has everything to be sucsessful and hit at least $ 50 this year yet!

But they should really hurry up with their DEX update, as this is the biggest issue everyone is complaining on it and it will make ICOs fail.

DEX is beta, it is still looking very basic.
The reason for that is simple: first squash the bugs in the trades / matcher nodes based on user feedback, etc.
Then work on the frontend. And trust me, they are working on it.

But coding is like baking a cake, it's ready when it's ready... if you take it out of the oven before it's ready, well, it's not that solid...

I'm using lite client for chrome, I prefer it because it's auto updating. I like the fact that you don't need to store blockchain on your computer (for some coins is pretty big) and  when you start client application you're up to date. I would like to suggest a quick and simple change for 'portofolio' page. I have a lot of assets and it became harder and harder to follow them. Having the table sortable or at least being sorted by default by assets name would be helpful.

Liquidity on the DEX is a big issue.  I would suggest creating some kind of liquidity rewards system to help tackle it.

Interesting idea with some kind of rewards system. I am not a trader, but i have put apart a small portion of my portfolio that i trade with on DEX, not to make profit,  i am only doing it to help to create liquidity on the platform. When i see fair orders i will fill them. But a reward system would definitely make me more motivated to do this more often. I think it would be better to do this when they have released the v1, it is still to early. This could event be a part of their marketing when they release, something like, for the first 1 month we will credit you x for every order that you fill.

The problem with waves is that there are too many whales forcing the price down and manipulating prices. With all these functions waves should be a minimum of 10usd but as soon as it rises, waves drops hard. Especially with the new enterprise collaborations, it should be mooning next to neo - but i suspect whales are playing in the waves

For me problem with Waves is that platform is forcing people to buy Waves to trade with other tokens. Even more frustrating is that when I want buy Waves for tokens that I already have on their platform I can not do this! I have to buy Waves with other coin and then i can make trade there!
This is really annoying!

Being a decentralized exchange makes Waves an interesting platform. I don't mind using Waves market as basis on trades. Still I am thinking how the other top coins can get listed in.

I have read somewhere that in next release of DEX it is possible to pay fee in traiding coin.
Is it true? I think like binance And her bnb coin, WP new DEX could  have discount for waves.

It looks like everyone here expects the price of Waves to get much higher if the Waves platform is succesful. But if all ICO's launched on the Waves platform use their own tokens and the Waves currency itself is only used in the background for fees and stuff like that, could that mean the price of Waves might never rise much all no matter how succesful the platform itself eventually becomes?

(I am a total noob in the field of cryptocurrency so what i wrote might not make any sense at all...)

Guys I can not buy waves with eth on the client. I clicked on sell ethereum and entered the price but it did not work, plus I have waves as well. Any suggestions?
